Sennheiser Launches MOMENTUM 5 Wireless and MOMENTUM True Wireless 5 in India

New Delhi, India, September 24, 2026: Sennheiser has launched the MOMENTUM 5 Wireless headphones and MOMENTUM True Wireless 5 earbuds in India, bringing updated high-fidelity audio, Dolby Atmos spatial sound, advanced noise cancellation and user-replaceable batteries to its latest MOMENTUM lineup.

The Sennheiser MOMENTUM 5 Wireless is priced at ₹39,990, while the MOMENTUM True Wireless 5 is priced at ₹29,990. Pre-orders for both products open today, September 24, through Sennheiser’s official website, leading online platforms and offline retail outlets. Deliveries and retail sales will begin on October 1, 2026.

Sennheiser MOMENTUM 5 Wireless

The new MOMENTUM 5 Wireless features HD 600-inspired 42mm drivers, manufactured at Sennheiser’s facility in Tullamore, Ireland. The headphones support Hi-Res Audio, Snapdragon Sound and aptX Lossless, along with Dolby Atmos spatial audio and interactive head tracking.

Sennheiser has equipped the headphones with an eight-microphone hybrid ANC system, which the company says delivers up to three times stronger midrange noise suppression compared with the MOMENTUM 4 Wireless. The system is also designed to improve voice clarity during calls.

Battery life is rated at up to 57 hours with ANC enabled, while fast charging provides additional convenience for users on the move.

One of the major changes is the introduction of a user-replaceable 700mAh battery. Owners can replace the battery themselves using a small Phillips-head screwdriver, potentially extending the usable life of the headphones without compromising their acoustic performance.

The headphones will initially be available in Black and Denim, with White, Bronze and Lavender variants set to follow.

Sennheiser has also redesigned the carrying case, making it 20% flatter, while the company says overall packaging has been reduced by 16% and is plastic-free.

Sennheiser MOMENTUM True Wireless 5

The MOMENTUM True Wireless 5 brings the MOMENTUM range’s audio technology to a compact in-ear format. It uses Sennheiser’s 7mm TrueResponse dynamic transducers, manufactured in Tullamore, Ireland, and supports high-resolution audio up to 24-bit/96kHz.

Connectivity comes via Bluetooth 6.0, with support for aptX Adaptive and aptX Lossless. The earbuds are also optimized for Dolby Atmos, including interactive head tracking for a more immersive spatial audio experience.

For noise cancellation, the earbuds feature Hybrid Adaptive ANC, automatic anti-wind mode and a four-microphone array. An eight-sensor system and AI-powered speech extraction are designed to improve voice clarity in noisy environments.

The new earbuds also feature a redesigned aerodynamic, fin-free housing developed using data from thousands of ear models. According to Sennheiser, 73% of testers found the new design more comfortable than the previous generation.

The earbuds are IP54-rated for protection against dust, sweat and splashes.

Battery life is rated at up to 12 hours on a single charge, with the charging case extending total playback time to 40 hours. Batteries in both the earbuds and charging case are user-replaceable, continuing Sennheiser’s focus on product longevity.

The MOMENTUM True Wireless 5 will be available in Graphite, Cream, Copper, Denim and Lavender.

Smart features and customization

Both new MOMENTUM products can be customized through Sennheiser’s Smart Control Plus app. The latest version introduces an eight-band equalizer, allowing users to adjust the sound profile according to their preferences.

The MOMENTUM 5 Wireless also supports USB-C and 3.5mm wired connections, providing additional flexibility for music playback and other applications.

He added that the new features are intended to enhance functionality while retaining the listening experience associated with the MOMENTUM range.

The Sennheiser MOMENTUM 5 Wireless is priced at ₹39,990 in India, while the MOMENTUM True Wireless 5 costs ₹29,990.

Pre-orders begin on September 24, 2026, through Sennheiser’s official website, leading online platforms and offline retail outlets. Customers who pre-order can receive a Sennheiser BTD 600 Bluetooth USB dongle worth ₹5,990, along with additional benefits offered by participating platforms.

Both products will go on sale across online and offline retail channels from October 1, 2026.
