Steelbird FEC-3 Helmet Launched in India with DOT, BIS and ECE 22.06 Certifications; Prices Start at Rs. 4,499

Bengaluru, India, November 5, 2026: Steelbird Hi-Tech India Limited has launched its new FEC-3 motorcycle helmet in India ahead of the Diwali festive season. Combining international safety certifications, sporty styling and premium features, the new helmet is aimed at motorcycle riders looking for enhanced protection and everyday riding comfort. The Steelbird FEC-3 is priced starting at Rs. 4,499.

One of the key highlights of the new Steelbird FEC-3 is its triple homologation under DOT (FMVSS No. 218), BIS (IS 4151:2015) and ECE 22.06 safety standards. The certifications underline the company’s focus on bringing internationally recognised safety standards to the Indian motorcycle helmet market.

The helmet features an outer shell constructed from a high-impact PC-ABS blend material, engineered to meet the requirements of DOT and ECE 22.06 safety standards.

Steelbird FEC-3: Design and features

The Steelbird FEC-3 features a sporty and aggressive design with an aerodynamic profile. Its contemporary styling and sporty graphics are aimed at motorcycle enthusiasts who prefer a performance-inspired appearance.

In terms of functionality, the helmet gets an integrated inner sun shield operated through a slider mechanism, allowing riders to adapt to changing light conditions. It also features a high-quality polycarbonate (PC) visor with an anti-scratch coating and a Pinlock 30 anti-fog lens to help maintain clear visibility across varying weather conditions.

Other features include a Double D-Ring fastening system, wind deflector, nose protector, visor locking system and a quick-release visor mechanism. These additions are designed to improve convenience, fit and the overall riding experience.

The new Steelbird FEC-3 helmet will be available in three size options to cater to different rider requirements.

• Large: 600 mm
• XL: 620 mm

With a starting price of Rs. 4,499, the FEC-3 combines triple safety homologation, advanced visor technology and a sporty design in the company’s latest premium helmet offering.
