HP ZBook Ultra G3a Launched in India at ₹2.89 Lakh, Targets Local AI Workloads

Bengaluru, India, October 14, 2026: HP Inc. has launched the HP ZBook Ultra G3a 16-inch mobile workstation in India, bringing high-performance computing and advanced local artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities to professionals in engineering, design, AI development and content creation.

Powered by AMD Ryzen AI Max+ PRO processors, the new mobile workstation is designed to handle demanding professional applications, including large language models (LLMs), AI agents, complex engineering tasks and high-resolution content creation. The device combines workstation-class performance with a thin-and-light design for professionals working across offices, client locations and remote environments.

The HP ZBook Ultra G3a 16-inch is priced at ₹2,89,990, excluding taxes, and is available through HP commercial channel partners in India.

HP ZBook Ultra G3a: Specifications and Features

The HP ZBook Ultra G3a can be configured with up to an AMD Ryzen AI Max+ PRO 495 processor and up to 192GB of unified memory, including up to 160GB of dedicated video memory (VRAM). According to HP, the system can support local execution of large language models with up to 300 billion parameters, allowing professionals to run advanced AI workloads directly on the device.

The workstation also features a neural processing unit (NPU) delivering up to 55 trillion operations per second (TOPS). These capabilities are designed to support multi-agent AI workflows and applications that require substantial computing and memory resources.

Despite its performance capabilities, the HP ZBook Ultra G3a measures approximately 17.9mm in thickness and starts at around 1.9kg. HP says its updated thermal design enables up to 100W of performance for demanding workloads, with up to 81.8% higher thermal design power (TDP) compared with the previous design.

16-Inch 2.8K OLED Display and Battery Life

The HP ZBook Ultra G3a features a 16-inch 2.8K OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The display is designed to deliver clarity, colour accuracy and responsiveness for professional design, engineering and content creation applications.

The workstation houses a 96Wh battery, with HP claiming up to 14 hours of battery life. Charging options include 140W and 180W GaN USB-C power adapters, depending on configuration.

Connectivity features include 5G support, enabling professionals to remain connected beyond Wi-Fi networks. The device also incorporates an easily replaceable keyboard to simplify servicing and extend its useful life.
