Bengaluru, India, October 14, 2026: Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) has launched the new Toyota Glanza in India, introducing sharper styling, an updated cabin, enhanced connectivity and a comprehensive safety package that includes Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). Prices start at ₹6.99 lakh (ex-showroom), with bookings opening on October 15, 2026, for ₹11,000. Deliveries are scheduled to begin in the first week of November 2026.
The updated hatchback builds on the Glanza’s established positioning in India’s premium hatchback segment, offering petrol and CNG powertrain options, alongside the introduction of an Automated Manual Transmission (AMT) for CNG variants.
New Toyota Glanza: Design and Exterior Updates
The new Toyota Glanza features a sharper and sportier design inspired by Toyota’s global front-end styling. The updated front bumper, redesigned grille with a wide chrome accent and sporty side skirts give the hatchback a more distinctive appearance.
Other exterior features include LED projector headlamps, LED daytime running lamps, automatic headlamps with welcome-home lighting, LED rear combination lamps, chrome door handles, a floating-roof effect and a rear window wiper.
Toyota is offering the new Glanza in seven colours: Cafe White, Enticing Silver, Gaming Grey, Sportin Red, Insta Blue, Bluish Black and Digital Teal Green. The latter two are new additions to the colour palette.
New Toyota Glanza Engine, Power and Fuel Efficiency
The updated Glanza is powered by a new-generation 1.2-litre, three-cylinder Z12E petrol engine producing 61 kW of power and 112.4 Nm of torque.
The CNG version develops 51.3 kW and 101.8 Nm of torque. A key addition to the range is the availability of an AMT gearbox with the CNG powertrain, offering an alternative to the manual transmission for customers seeking greater driving convenience.
Toyota claims fuel efficiency figures of 23.80 km/l for the manual petrol variant and 24.77 km/l for the AMT variant.
The combination of petrol and CNG options, along with multiple transmission choices, is intended to cater to buyers looking for a balance of everyday performance, convenience and running costs.
Premium Features and Interior Upgrades
The new Toyota Glanza receives several comfort and convenience upgrades, including ventilated front seats and wireless smartphone charging with cooling.
The cabin features dual-tone interiors, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, automatic climate control, rear AC vents and a head-up display. Practicality is enhanced by 60:40 split-folding rear seats and multiple Type-C and USB charging ports.
Connected Technology and Infotainment
The Glanza is equipped with a 22.86 cm Smart Playcast Pro infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility.
Toyota i-Connect adds connected-car functionality, including remote locking and unlocking, vehicle health monitoring, safety alerts, geofencing and service-related information. The system also supports smartwatch connectivity and voice assistance compatibility.
A premium Clarion sound system is designed to enhance the in-car entertainment experience.
New Toyota Glanza Gets Level 2 ADAS
One of the key updates to the new Glanza is the introduction of Level 2 ADAS features, bringing additional driver assistance technology to the hatchback.

The package is complemented by six airbags, Vehicle Stability Control, Hill Hold Control, ABS with Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD), a Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) and an emergency stop signal.
Additional safety equipment includes a 360-degree camera, rear parking sensors, ISOFIX child-seat anchorages, seatbelt reminders and front seatbelts with pretensioners and force limiters. Three-point emergency locking retractor seatbelts are provided for all passengers, according to Toyota.
