Solis Launches JP 975, India’s First New-Gen Tractor Platform with Advanced JP Tech Engine
India’s leading tractor export brand unveils breakthrough technology for next-generation farming
Solis, the flagship brand of International Tractors Limited (ITL) and India’s No. 1 tractor exporter, has announced the launch of the all-new Solis JP 975, marking a major advancement in India’s farm machinery landscape. Developed on a completely new technology platform, the JP 975 aims to empower the ‘Viksit Kisan’ with intelligent engineering, superior comfort and category-leading performance features.
Unveiled in New Delhi on 5 December 2025, the JP 975 introduces a new performance benchmark for Indian farms with its JP Tech 4-cylinder engine, delivering up to 10% higher torque and a peak output of 205 Nm, enabling effortless operation even in demanding field conditions. The tractor also becomes the first in its segment to feature India’s first 15F+5R Epicyclic Transmission with side-shift gears, offering smoother handling, improved efficiency and at least five optimal working speeds tailored for major farm applications.
The model’s Smart Shuttle system allows quick, jerk-free directional changes, significantly boosting productivity during fieldwork and loader operations. A strong ladder-type chassis provides enhanced stability, reduced vibration and lower noise levels—essential for long working hours on Indian farms.
Commenting on the milestone launch, Mr. Raman Mittal, Joint Managing Director of ITL, said the JP 975 represents a decisive step in delivering next-generation tractor technology to India’s farming community. He noted that the model is the first in the brand’s future-ready JP series: “With the powerful JP Tech 4-cylinder engine and India’s first 15F+5R transmission in its class, the JP 975 sets a new benchmark in power, comfort and application versatility. Over the next 12 months, we will be introducing a series of advanced tractors built on this platform to unlock greater efficiency and productivity for our farming community.”
