MotoGP 2027 Calendar Revealed: Buenos Aires Returns, Adelaide Debuts

September 25, 2026: MotoGP has unveiled its 2027 calendar, with the championship set for a record-setting season featuring 22 Grands Prix across five continents from March to November.

The 2027 MotoGP season will mark the beginning of a new era for the championship, with new-generation motorcycles and two new venues joining the calendar. The schedule combines several of MotoGP’s traditional circuits with the return of Buenos Aires in Argentina and the championship’s much-anticipated debut at the new Adelaide Street Circuit in Australia.

The expanded calendar will take MotoGP around the world from March through November, with the championship once again visiting five continents.

Buenos Aires returns to the MotoGP calendar

One of the biggest additions to the MotoGP 2027 calendar is the return of Argentina.

The Autódromo Oscar y Juan Gálvez in Buenos Aires will host Round 4 of the 2027 MotoGP season, strengthening the championship’s presence in South America.

The return to Argentina follows MotoGP’s recent expansion in the region, including the Season Launch in Rio de Janeiro and a second visit to Goiânia in Brazil for Round 3.

Buenos Aires, Argentina’s capital, will therefore become an important stop early in the 2027 season as MotoGP continues to expand its presence across South America.

Adelaide Street Circuit to make MotoGP debut

The other major change to the calendar will come in Australia, where MotoGP will race at the Adelaide Street Circuit for the first time.

The new venue will host the penultimate Grand Prix of the 2027 season as Round 21, bringing MotoGP racing into the heart of Adelaide.

The street circuit is set to provide a different environment from Australia’s traditional MotoGP venue, with the championship describing the event as a major new addition to its global calendar.

With the 2027 season approaching its conclusion, Adelaide will be the penultimate opportunity for riders and teams to score points before the championship finale.
