Creatara Mobility Opens Faridabad Plant with 30,000-Unit Annual Capacity

Faridabad, India, September 24, 2026: Creatara Mobility has inaugurated its first manufacturing plant in Faridabad, Haryana, with an installed annual production capacity of 30,000 electric two-wheelers. The new facility marks the Indian electric two-wheeler manufacturer’s transition from product development and certification to scaled production.

Located in the Delhi-NCR region, the new manufacturing facility will produce Creatara’s flagship IN40 and VM4 electric two-wheelers. The crossover-style electric two-wheelers have been developed for young riders, with a focus on individuality, personalization and styling.

According to Creatara, the facility has been designed around a repeatable, reliable and scalable manufacturing system capable of supporting future market growth. The company said its approach has been to build capabilities progressively across technology, products, certification, supply chain and manufacturing.

Creatara IN40 and VM4 electric two-wheelers

The Creatara IN40 and VM4 are based on the company’s proprietary platform and were first showcased in January 2025. Both models feature an AI-ready Vehicle Control Unit (VCU) and portable, swappable battery packs.

Creatara says the two electric two-wheelers will be manufactured at the Faridabad facility for both the domestic and export markets, supporting the company’s “Made in India, Made for the World” strategy.

The company is positioning the IN40 and VM4 within a lifestyle-oriented electric mobility category, combining engineering, connected technology, customization and distinctive styling. Creatara says it is targeting college students and young professionals with products designed to function as lifestyle statements as well as mobility solutions.

Japanese 5S philosophy adopted for manufacturing

Creatara has adopted the Japanese 5S philosophy — Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardise and Sustain — as part of its manufacturing approach.

The company says the philosophy will be applied to production with an emphasis on consistency, quality, process discipline, standardisation, continuous improvement and scalable manufacturing.

Creatara has also progressively developed capabilities across several areas, including powertrain, battery systems, electronics, electrical systems, tooling, manufacturing, connected technology, components, testing and industrialisation.

Creatara targets growth in India’s EV market

Founded in 2018, Creatara Mobility is headquartered in Delhi-NCR and describes itself as a lifestyle electric two-wheeler manufacturer focused on innovation, sustainability and personalization.

The company says its proprietary platforms combine engineering, bold design and connected technology, with a focus on safety, reliability, performance and adaptability across different terrains.

The opening of the Faridabad facility represents a new phase for Creatara as it moves towards series production of its electric two-wheelers.
