Porsche Cayenne Electric Launched in India at ₹1.77 Crore; Turbo Electric Priced at ₹2.27 Crore

Bengaluru, India, September 30, 2026: Porsche India has launched the new Cayenne Electric in the country, bringing an all-electric powertrain to one of the German performance carmaker’s most established model lines. The new electric SUV has been introduced in two variants, with prices starting at ₹1.77 crore (ex-showroom).

The Porsche Cayenne Electric is priced at ₹1,77,27,000, while the more powerful Cayenne Turbo Electric carries a price tag of ₹2,27,51,000. Customer deliveries of both variants will begin from September 30, 2026, following the model’s official launch in Mumbai.

The arrival of the Cayenne Electric expands Porsche India’s electric vehicle portfolio while retaining the Cayenne’s focus on performance, versatility and everyday usability.

Porsche Cayenne Electric Launched in Two Variants

The new Cayenne Electric is available in India in two variants from launch – the Cayenne Electric and the Cayenne Turbo Electric.

The standard Cayenne Electric is positioned as the entry point to the new all-electric Cayenne range, while the Cayenne Turbo Electric offers a higher-performance interpretation of Porsche’s electric SUV.

Porsche has not discontinued the conventional Cayenne. The company has confirmed that petrol-powered Cayenne variants will continue to be sold into the next decade, giving customers a choice between internal-combustion and fully electric versions of the SUV.

The strategy allows Porsche to offer different powertrain options while the Cayenne enters a new phase of electrification.

Cayenne Electric Brings Porsche Performance to EV Range

The new-generation Cayenne Electric combines Porsche’s performance-oriented driving characteristics with an electric powertrain.

According to Porsche India, the new model has been developed to retain the driving performance expected from a Porsche while delivering the benefits of electric mobility. The Cayenne Electric also continues the model’s focus on everyday usability and versatility.

Commenting on the launch, Ashutosh Dixit, Head of Porsche India, said the Cayenne’s move towards electrification represents an important new phase for the model while retaining its Porsche characteristics.

He added that the Cayenne Electric combines electric mobility with the performance, engineering and driving experience associated with Porsche’s sports cars.

Porsche Expands Electric Vehicle Portfolio in India

The Cayenne Electric adds another fully electric model to Porsche India’s portfolio and gives customers an additional option in the luxury electric SUV segment.

With both the Cayenne Electric and Cayenne Turbo Electric available from launch, Porsche is offering different levels of performance within its new electric Cayenne range.

The company sees the model as an important addition to its Indian line-up as it continues to broaden its electric vehicle offering.

The India launch took place in Mumbai, where the new Cayenne Electric was introduced to Indian media and customers. Deliveries begin on September 30, making the Cayenne Electric immediately available to Porsche customers across the country.
