Prem Khandle Wins FIM Moto Mini India 2026, Earns Valencia World Series Spot

Bengaluru, India, September 29, 2026: Prem Khandle of Palghar, Maharashtra, emerged as the overall winner of the inaugural FIM Moto Mini India 2026, with Chennai’s Rian Sarath finishing runner-up and Coimbatore’s Rithin Sai A taking third place.

The FIM Moto Mini India Series, a new national-level platform aimed at developing young motorcycle racing talent, was launched at the Meco Kartopia circuit in Bengaluru last weekend.

Organised and promoted by the House of Machines (HOM) in association with the Future Development of Motorsport Trust (FDM), the Moto Mini India 2026 featured three rounds and 10 races from September 25 to 27.

The series is designed for young riders aged between 10 and 14 and aims to provide them with a structured pathway from national competition towards international motorcycle racing.

Prem Khandle Wins Moto Mini India 2026

Prem Khandle emerged as the overall champion of the Moto Mini India 2026 series after three rounds of competition at Meco Kartopia.

Rian Sarath from Chennai finished the series as the first runner-up, while Rithin Sai A from Coimbatore completed the overall podium in third position.

The top two riders from the Indian series will now get the opportunity to represent India at the FIM Moto Mini World Series in Valencia, Spain, which will take place from November 22 to 26, ahead of the final round of the FIM MotoGP season.

Khandle and Sarath will be among 44 young riders from around the world competing in the World Finals.

Moto Mini India Creates Pathway to International Racing

The FIM Moto Mini India Series has been established to give young Indian riders a more structured route towards international competition.

The programme mirrors the international FIM Moto Mini format and gives riders experience in a competitive environment before they progress to the World Series in Europe.

One of the key features of the championship is the use of the Moto Mini Ohvale 160cc motorcycle, which is the same specification used in the FIM Moto Mini World Series.

This allows Indian riders to familiarise themselves with the motorcycle and competition format they will encounter when they compete internationally.

House of Machines Targets Future Indian MotoGP Talent

Ajit Bharadwaj, Managing Director, House of Machines, said the series was established with the long-term objective of identifying and developing Indian motorcycle racing talent.

“We brought together an experienced team of Indian motorsport officials to conduct and manage the Mini Moto India Series,” said Bharadwaj. “Our goal is to find an Indian talent representing India in MotoGP at some point in the future.”

He also said House of Machines intends to collaborate with racing institutions across India to accelerate the development of young riders.

The initiative could provide a more clearly defined progression for young Indian racers, beginning with national-level competition and potentially leading to international championships.

FDM Supports Young Indian Motorcycle Racers

Tharunkumar S., Founder and Managing Trustee of Future Development of Motorsport Trust, welcomed the introduction of the FIM Moto Mini programme in India.

“We thank House of Machines for bringing the FIM Moto Mini programme to India and establishing an important platform for the development of young Indian riders,” said Tharunkumar.

FDM will continue to support future events and initiatives aimed at developing Indian motorsport talent.

With the inaugural Moto Mini India Series now complete, attention will turn to Valencia, where Prem Khandle and Rian Sarath will carry India’s hopes into the FIM Moto Mini World Series against young riders from around the world.
