New Delhi, India, July 25, 2026: Maruti Suzuki India Limited has launched the new Maruti Suzuki Brezza Turbo Boosterjet in India, introducing a turbo-petrol variant to its popular compact SUV lineup. Priced from an introductory ₹7.39 lakh (ex-showroom), the new Brezza Turbo Boosterjet is aimed at younger buyers seeking a sportier driving experience, while the updated Brezza range also receives new transmissions, enhanced safety features, refreshed styling and upgraded technology.

The launch builds on the Brezza’s strong market presence, with over 1.4 million customers choosing the compact SUV since its debut.

Maruti Suzuki Brezza Turbo Boosterjet: Engine and Performance

The highlight of the updated lineup is the 1.0-litre Turbo Boosterjet petrol engine paired with Progressive Smart Hybrid technology and an all-new 6-speed manual transmission.

The engine produces:

• Power: 81 kW (110.2 PS) at 5,500 rpm
• Torque: 170 Nm between 2,000-3,500 rpm
• Fuel efficiency: 20.47 km/l

According to Maruti Suzuki, the turbocharged powertrain has been developed under the theme of “Spontaneous Play”, targeting customers looking for energetic performance and an engaging driving experience.

K15C Petrol and S-CNG Variants Continue

Alongside the turbo variant, the Brezza continues to be offered with the proven 1.5-litre K15C Dual Jet Dual VVT petrol engine featuring Progressive Smart Hybrid technology.

The naturally aspirated engine is now available with:

• New 6-speed manual transmission
• 6-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters
• Fuel efficiency of 21.09 km/l

The Brezza S-CNG also receives the new 6-speed manual gearbox and Idle Start-Stop technology. It delivers a claimed fuel efficiency of 26.9 km/kg, while retaining full boot space through its underbody CNG tank layout.

Refreshed Exterior Design

The updated Brezza receives several styling enhancements while retaining its familiar SUV stance.

Exterior highlights include:

• New Smoke Chrome front grille
• Metallic Grey bull bar design
• Revised skid plate
• New dual-tone side cladding
• Precision-cut alloy wheels with a sharper geometric design
• Exclusive “Turbo Boosterjet” badging on turbo variants

Maruti Suzuki has also introduced two new exterior colours:

• Lustrous Beige

The Turbo Package adds sporty red accents and Turbo branding, while the Terrascape Package focuses on rugged styling with brown and silver exterior elements. Buyers seeking a more urban appearance can opt for the Metroscape Package, which introduces unique styling enhancements.
