strong product mix across SUV, MPV and compact segments emerged as a key growth driver in 2025. Models such as the Innova Hycross, Fortuner, Urban Cruiser Hyryder, Hilux, Urban Cruiser Taisor and Glanza delivered robust performance throughout the year.

Safety, Technology and Ownership Experience

Toyota strengthened its all-around safety assurance by introducing six airbags as standard across all variants of the Rumion, while also standardising six airbags on the Glanza, Urban Cruiser Taisor and Urban Cruiser Hyryder. The Innova Hycross achieving a 5-star Bharat NCAP rating further reinforced customer trust.

The Urban Cruiser Hyryder saw enhancements in comfort and driving experience with the addition of a 6-speed automatic transmission (6AT) in the AWD variant and an electronic parking brake in Neo Drive AT variants.

Beyond products, expansion of Toyota Used Car Outlets (TUCO) and value-added services such as T CARE and T GLOSS contributed to a more seamless and hassle-free ownership experience, boosting customer confidence.

Youth-Centric Brand Engagement

In 2025, Toyota deepened its connection with younger audiences through unique and innovative marketing initiatives. The brand hosted Drum Tao, Japan’s globally acclaimed performance group and Toyota’s brand ambassador, as part of a 13-city India tour, celebrating the shared cultural heritage of India and Japan.

Toyota also unveiled the Toyota Experiential Museum (tem), a first-of-its-kind immersive lifestyle and cultural hub blending Japanese aesthetics with Indian philosophy.
