Kia India concluded Calendar Year 2025 on a strong note, reporting total wholesale volumes of 280,286 units, marking a 15 per cent year-on-year growth over 245,000 units sold in CY2024. The consistent performance highlights Kia India’s customer-centric strategy, continuous product innovation, and sustained market demand, supported by a favourable automotive environment.

The company also registered its best-ever December sales since inception, delivering 18,659 units in December 2025, a significant 105 per cent year-on-year growth compared to 8,957 units in December 2024. Improved consumer sentiment and focused customer engagement were key drivers of this strong year-end performance.

Commenting on the results, Atul Sood, Senior Vice President – Sales & Marketing, Kia India, said, “2025 was a year of consistent and sustainable growth for Kia India, driven by strategic product introductions such as the Carens Clavis and Carens Clavis EV, trim optimisation across key mass-selling models including the Seltos, Carens and Sonet, and continuous improvements across sales, service and customer engagement.”

He further added, “Supported by favourable macroeconomic conditions and consumer-friendly government policies, including the GST framework, these initiatives reinforced positive consumer sentiment. Looking ahead to 2026, Kia India remains focused on delivering value-led offerings and strengthening the brand ownership experience to drive steady and sustainable growth in a dynamic market.”

Strong Model Performance Drives Growth

Kia India’s popular compact SUV Sonet crossed the 100,000-unit sales milestone for the second consecutive year, emerging as a key growth driver, supported by sustained demand for the Kia Seltos. Other models in the portfolio, including the Kia Carens, Carens Clavis and the Carens Clavis EV, received a positive customer response during the year.

At the premium end, the Kia Carnival Limousine and the Kia EV6 continued to attract luxury and EV buyers, strengthening Kia’s presence across multiple segments.

Outlook for 2026

Building on the momentum, the new Kia Seltos, introduced recently, is expected to play a pivotal role in driving growth in CY2026, further reinforcing the brand’s position in the highly competitive SUV segment. This growth will be supported by consistent performers such as the Sonet, Carens Clavis and Carens Clavis EV.

Network Expansion Across India

During CY2025, Kia India significantly expanded its nationwide footprint, increasing its network to 821 touchpoints across 369 cities. The wider reach enhances customer accessibility across urban and emerging markets while strengthening Kia’s sales and service ecosystem to support long-term growth.
