Škoda Auto India to Hike Vehicle Prices by Up to 1.2% From October 1
Mumbai, India, September 30, 2026: Škoda Auto India has announced a price increase of up to 1.2% across its vehicle range, effective October 1, 2026. The company said the revision is being implemented due to rising input and operational costs.
The price increase will apply at the ex-showroom level across the Škoda Auto India portfolio, with the exact revision varying depending on the model and variant. The maximum increase has been capped at ₹20,000.
Škoda Auto India has not announced a uniform percentage increase across its entire range, meaning the revised prices will differ between individual models and variants.
Škoda Auto India Product Action in 2026
The price revision comes as Škoda Auto India continues to expand and update its product portfolio. The company began 2026 with a commitment to undertake 10 product actions during the year.
Among the key product introductions and updates have been the new Škoda Kushaq and new Slavia, updates to the Kodiaq, and the introduction of the Kodiaq RS and Octavia RS.
Škoda has also expanded the Kylaq range with new trims and features, including the introduction of the Sportline trim. The company has additionally introduced the Classic+ and Prestige+ trims across its portfolio.
The latest product actions are part of Škoda Auto India’s broader strategy to expand its presence in the Indian passenger vehicle market while offering customers more variants and equipment across its range.

The company’s India growth has also been supported by its locally manufactured product range. Škoda Auto India has now crossed 250,000 locally manufactured cars sold in India, including the Kylaq, Kushaq and Slavia.
The Kylaq has emerged as an important part of the company’s India portfolio, with more than 75,000 units sold since its introduction.

The wider network is aimed at improving customer access to Škoda vehicles and supporting the company’s growing customer base across the country.
Despite the upcoming price revision, Škoda Auto India said it remains focused on offering customers value, safety and European engineering, while continuing to provide high-quality products and ownership experiences.
