Gurugram, India, September 23, 2026: Hyundai Motor India has opened bookings for the new Hyundai BAYON in India, with the upcoming intelligent utility vehicle available to reserve for an initial amount of Rs 11,000. Bookings are open through Hyundai India’s official website and authorised dealerships across the country.

Positioned around the theme “Intelligence That Moves”, the Hyundai BAYON is aimed at new-age Indian SUV buyers looking for a combination of technology, futuristic design, safety, comfort and everyday usability.

One of the key highlights of the new SUV is its in-built generative AI voice assistant, which is designed to provide more natural interactions between the driver and vehicle while enhancing the connected driving experience.

The BAYON is also built on Hyundai’s Global K Enhanced Platform, engineered for 5-star Indian safety standards, and will be offered with a petrol powertrain paired with either a manual transmission or Hyundai’s Intelligent Variable Transmission (IVT).

Hyundai says the BAYON has been developed around five key pillars — Intelligence ON, Safety ON, Comfort ON, Performance ON and Style ON.

The Intelligence ON philosophy is centred around the SUV’s generative AI voice assistant, which is designed to make vehicle interactions more intuitive and connected.

Safety ON is underpinned by the Global K Enhanced Platform, with the vehicle engineered to meet 5-star Indian safety standards. Hyundai says the platform focuses on occupant protection, structural rigidity and advanced safety engineering.

The Comfort ON pillar focuses on convenience and interior space, while Performance ON is aimed at providing confident everyday driving. Style ON brings a progressive SUV design inspired by global design trends.

Hyundai BAYON gets futuristic SUV design

The Hyundai BAYON has been designed to combine athletic proportions with a futuristic appearance.

At the front, the SUV features a sculpted bonnet, futuristic front fascia and signature H-Edge LED daytime running lights. Its wide stance is further enhanced by geometric wheel arches, wrap-around door cladding and bridge-type roof rails.

The design continues towards the rear with styling elements intended to create a sense of movement and dynamism.
