Tata Sierra DARK Launched in India at Rs 13.99 Lakh
Mumbai, India, September 21, 2026: Tata Motors has introduced the new Sierra #DARK in India, giving its premium mid-size SUV a distinctive black-themed design treatment. The Tata Sierra #DARK is priced from Rs 13.99 lakh (ex-showroom) and combines a Friesian Black exterior with a Violet Eclipse interior and exclusive Purple Chrome detailing.
The new edition builds on the recently launched Tata Sierra Legend Series and is aimed at buyers looking for a more premium and exclusive interpretation of the SUV.
Tata Sierra #DARK gets exclusive black treatment
The Sierra #DARK retains the SUV’s signature silhouette, muscular proportions and commanding stance, but introduces a more distinctive visual identity through its Friesian Black exterior.
The cabin gets an all-black leatherette treatment with a Violet Eclipse theme, creating a more premium and lounge-like ambience. Purple Chrome accents are also used across the exterior and interior to provide a contrasting highlight to the predominantly black design.
Tata Motors says the #DARK edition carries forward the design philosophy established by its existing #DARK range, while giving the Sierra a more sophisticated and exclusive appearance.
Commenting on the launch, Vivek Srivatsa, Chief Commercial Officer, Tata Passenger Electric Mobility Ltd., said the #DARK range has resonated with customers looking for exclusivity and distinctive design.
According to Tata Motors, the Sierra #DARK combines the SUV’s heritage and design character with the distinctive styling associated with the #DARK range.
Sierra #DARK available in multiple variants
The Tata Sierra #DARK is available across several variants of the Sierra Legend Series. These include the Pure L, Pure L (O), Pure+ L, Adventure+ L, Accomplished and Accomplished+ personas.
The SUV continues to be offered with multiple engine and transmission combinations, including the 1.5-litre Revotron petrol, 1.5-litre Kryojet diesel and 1.5-litre Hyperion petrol engines, depending on the variant.
