Bengaluru, India, September 10, 2026: Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) has introduced the new Lounge Edition across the CRETA, ALCAZAR and CRETA Electric, bringing enhanced comfort, entertainment and connected features to its SUV range. Prices for the new Lounge Edition models start at Rs 19.21 lakh (ex-showroom) for the CRETA and go up to Rs 25.22 lakh for the top-spec CRETA Electric Lounge Edition.

Designed around the concept of a premium executive lounge, the new editions feature lounge-exclusive interiors, distinctive exterior styling and Hyundai’s new 29.46 cm (11.6-inch) Rear Seat Entertainment System (RSE).

The new RSE is designed to turn the rear cabin into an entertainment zone, offering access to OTT content, video streaming, interactive gaming, phone mirroring and a range of applications through a certified app store.

The system is paired with the existing BOSE Premium Sound System with eight speakers, a front central speaker and subwoofer.

Commenting on the introduction, Amit Dhaundiyal, Head, Product Strategy & Planning, HMIL, said the Lounge Edition has been developed for customers looking for greater comfort, technology and exclusivity beyond conventional mobility.

Hyundai Lounge Edition: What Is New?

The Lounge Edition models are designed around a premium lounge-inspired cabin experience. Common enhancements include lounge-exclusive interiors with silver-coloured inserts, Moonwhite ambient lighting, a new lounge seat design pattern and rear-seat headrest cushions carrying Lounge branding.

The three SUVs also receive distinctive exterior styling, including the new Golden Bronze exterior colour and black-finished design elements, although the specific equipment varies between models.

Hyundai CRETA Lounge Edition

The Hyundai CRETA Lounge Edition is based on the King trim and is available with the 1.5-litre MPi petrol iVT and 1.5-litre U2 CRDi diesel AT powertrains.

On the outside, the CRETA Lounge Edition gets black-painted front and rear skid plates, side sill garnish, rear spoiler, roof rails, C-pillar garnish and ORVMs. It also features R18 matte-black alloy wheels.

Inside, the key addition is the 29.46 cm (11.6-inch) Rear Seat Entertainment System, complemented by lounge-exclusive interiors, silver-coloured inserts, Moonwhite ambient lighting, a new seat design pattern and rear-seat headrest cushions with Lounge branding.

Hyundai ALCAZAR Lounge Edition

The Hyundai ALCAZAR Lounge Edition takes a different approach, focusing particularly on rear-seat comfort. It is offered exclusively in a five-seat configuration and is based on the Signature variant.

The ALCAZAR Lounge Edition is available exclusively with the 1.5-litre U2 CRDi diesel automatic powertrain.

Exterior changes include the new Golden Bronze colour, black-painted skid plates, side sill garnish, rear spoiler, roof rails and ORVMs, along with R18 black alloy wheels.

The cabin features an exclusive five-seat lounge-like configuration, a voice-enabled smart panoramic sunroof, the 11.6-inch Rear Seat Entertainment System, lounge-exclusive interiors, Moonwhite ambient lighting and the new lounge seat design.

Hyundai CRETA Electric Lounge Edition

The Hyundai CRETA Electric Lounge Edition combines the premium lounge experience with electric mobility. It is based on the Excellence Long Range variant and is also available with a Home Charger option.

The electric SUV gets the Golden Bronze exterior colour along with black-painted front and rear skid plates, side sill garnish, rear spoiler, roof rails, C-pillar garnish and ORVMs. It rides on R17 black aero alloy wheels.

Additional cabin and convenience features include a dashcam, rear wireless charger and the 29.46 cm (11.6-inch) Rear Seat Entertainment System. The lounge-exclusive interiors, silver-coloured inserts, Moonwhite ambient lighting and new lounge seat design are also part of the package.
