New Delhi, India, September 2, 2026: Sonalika Tractors has recorded its highest-ever August overall sales of 12,581 tractors in August 2026, with the company estimating that it outpaced overall industry growth by 1.9 times. The milestone comes as the tractor manufacturer celebrates its 30th anniversary year.

The company also achieved its highest-ever monthly production of 18,067 tractors at its integrated manufacturing facility in Hoshiarpur, Punjab, highlighting its focus on strengthening production capacity ahead of the upcoming festive season.

According to Sonalika, the twin sales and production milestones reflect the alignment between its manufacturing operations, product portfolio and market responsiveness as it prepares for potentially stronger demand from farmers during the festive period.

Sonalika Tractor Sales Record Strong August Performance

Sonalika Tractors said its 12,581-unit overall sales in August 2026 represent its best-ever August performance. The company attributed the momentum to its product portfolio, including its new Gold series tractors, along with its vertically integrated manufacturing capabilities.

The manufacturer said its integrated operations allow it greater control over quality while also enabling it to develop tractors with technology and specifications tailored to different farming requirements across India.

With the festive season approaching, Sonalika said its dealership network is prepared to meet demand across diverse agricultural applications and regional requirements.

The company has also introduced its biggest annual festive campaign, ‘Heavy Duty Dumdaar Dhamaka’, offering opportunities for farmers to purchase Sonalika tractors during the festive period.

Sonalika Produces Record 18,067 Tractors in August

Alongside its sales performance, Sonalika achieved a new monthly production record of 18,067 tractors in August 2026 at its Hoshiarpur manufacturing facility.

The company said the record production figure demonstrates the strength of its supply chain and manufacturing ecosystem and positions it to respond to rising farmer demand during the festive season.

Commenting on the performance, Raman Mittal, Joint Managing Director, International Tractors Limited, said the company was excited to deliver its best-ever August overall sales of 12,581 tractors while surpassing industry growth by 1.9 times.

He also highlighted the company’s record monthly production of 18,067 tractors, stating that the achievement demonstrates alignment across Sonalika’s value chain.

Mittal added that the company’s manufacturing capabilities, product strength and market responsiveness have increased its confidence ahead of the festive months, with the new Gold series tractors expected to play a role in meeting farmer requirements.
