Ather Energy Expands Service Network to 500 Centres Across India, Strengthens EV Ecosystem

Bengaluru, March 17, 2026: Ather Energy has announced a major milestone in its growth journey, expanding its service network to 500 authorised centres across India. The move aligns with the company’s rapidly growing retail footprint and reinforces its commitment to delivering a seamless electric vehicle (EV) ownership experience.

From its early days, Ather has prioritised building robust after-sales support in every city where its scooters are sold. This latest expansion ensures improved accessibility to service and maintenance, catering to customers across Tier-1, Tier-2, and emerging markets.

Focus on Service Quality and Customer Experience

Beyond scaling its network, Ather continues to invest in enhancing service quality and operational efficiency. Its Gold Service Centres are equipped with modern customer lounges, advanced diagnostic tools, and streamlined processes aimed at improving transparency and reliability.

A key highlight is the ExpressCare initiative, a 60-minute periodic maintenance service currently available at 82 centres. This allows customers to complete routine servicing quickly without compromising on quality—an important factor for urban commuters.

In FY26 alone, Ather nearly doubled its service footprint, growing from 277 to 500 service centres, reflecting its aggressive expansion strategy and focus on customer satisfaction.

Leadership Commentary

Commenting on the milestone, Ravneet Singh Phokela, Chief Business Officer at Ather Energy, said:

“Crossing 500 service centres is an important milestone as we continue to scale our retail footprint and customer base across the country. From the early days, we have focused on building service capacity alongside sales because reliable after-sales support is a core part of the overall ownership experience.”

He added that as Ather expands its presence, ensuring access to trained technicians, transparent processes, and consistent service quality remains a top priority.

Strong Demand Driving Expansion

The network expansion comes amid rising demand for Ather’s electric scooters, particularly the Ather 450 performance series and the Ather Rizta, which have helped the brand tap into new customer segments.

As of December 31, 2025, the company operates 600 Experience Centres and aims to scale this to 700 centres by FY26, further strengthening its retail presence across India.

Building India’s EV Infrastructure

In addition to service expansion, Ather is actively contributing to India’s EV ecosystem through the Ather Grid, currently the country’s largest two-wheeler fast-charging network. The grid features over 4,357 fast-charging points and neighbourhood chargers globally (as of December 31, 2025), ensuring convenient and reliable charging access for riders.
