Cadillac Formula 1 Team’s 2026 Livery Makes On-Track Debut at Bahrain International Circuit

Super Bowl LX reveal followed by first running ahead of 2026 Formula 1 pre-season testing

Bahrain, February 9, 2026: The Cadillac Formula 1® Team has taken another major step toward its historic Formula 1 debut, as its 2026 livery made its first on-track appearance during a promotional filming day at the Bahrain International Circuit.

The track debut comes just one day after Cadillac unveiled its striking 2026 livery during a television advertisement aired at Super Bowl LX on February 8, marking one of the most high-profile Formula 1 launches in recent history. The commercial signalled Cadillac’s ambition to connect with new audiences in the United States and globally as it prepares for its inaugural F1 season.

Perez and Bottas Run the 2026 Livery

Sergio Perez and Valtteri Bottas shared driving duties during the filming day, showcasing the team’s bold black-and-white design in its first real-world running. The session also marked the on-track debut of Cadillac Formula 1 Team partners, including TWG AI, Claro, IFS, Jim Beam, Tenneco, and Tommy Hilfiger.

Speaking after the run, Perez highlighted the significance of the moment:
“Launching our livery for the season is a special moment for everyone involved. It really highlights the level of effort being put in to push boundaries as we enter Formula 1 for the first time. The upcoming Bahrain tests give us a great opportunity to build on this momentum and continue learning about what the car is capable of.”

Focus Turns to Bahrain Pre-Season Testing

With the first on-track showcase complete, Cadillac now turns its attention to Formula 1 pre-season testing in Bahrain, scheduled for February 11–13 and February 18–20. The sessions will be critical as the team prepares for its competitive debut at the 2026 Australian Grand Prix in Melbourne.

Bottas praised the rapid transition from reveal to track action:
“To go from revealing our livery at the Super Bowl to running it on track almost immediately is an impressive way to launch our first season. The team has done an incredible job designing the first-ever Cadillac Formula 1 Team livery, and now we’re fully focused on maximizing every lap during testing to be ready for Melbourne.”

Bold Identity for a New F1 Entrant

Zhou Guanyu, who is supporting the team in his role, emphasized the identity behind the design:
“It’s been a bold and exciting way to launch as a team. The black-and-white dual colour scheme defines who we are, and it’s amazing to be part of what Cadillac is building as we prepare for the Bahrain tests and the season opener in Australia.”

With its first livery run completed, a star-studded driver lineup, and pre-season testing just days away, the Cadillac Formula 1 Team’s preparations for the 2026 Formula 1 World Championship are now fully underway.
