MECO-FMSCI Indian National Karting Championship 2026: Krish Gupta, Rivaan Dev Preetham, Arshi Gupta and Ayansh Patil Crowned Champions

Bengaluru, India, October 18, 2026: Krish Gupta, Rivaan Dev Preetham, Arshi Gupta and Ayansh Patil emerged as the overall champions in their respective categories as the MECO-FMSCI Indian National Karting Championship RMC India 2026 concluded at Meco Kartopia in Bengaluru on Sunday. The championship featured SIDVIN Energy Engineering as the presenting sponsor and MRF Tyres as the partner sponsor.

Krish Gupta claimed the Senior Max title, Rivaan Dev Preetham won the Junior Max championship, Arshi Gupta secured the Mini Max crown, and Ayansh Patil finished on top in Micro Max. Interestingly, none of the four champions won the Final race in their respective categories, underlining the importance of consistency and points accumulated across the six-round national championship.

Krish Gupta, Rivaan Dev Preetham and Arshi Gupta also secured tickets to the Rotax Max Challenge Grand Finals, scheduled to take place at the Kartódromo Internacional do Algarve in Portugal from November 7 to 14. The prestigious international event will bring together 432 elite racers from more than 60 countries.

Krish Gupta Clinches Senior Max Title Despite Eshanth Vengatesan’s Dominance

Mumbai’s Krish Gupta of Rayo Racing secured the Senior Max championship after finishing third in the Final and second in the Pre-Final. His consistent results proved decisive as Bengaluru’s Akshat Misra of Peregrine Racing, his closest rival heading into the final round, lost ground in the title battle.

Chennai’s Eshanth Vengatesan of MSPORT delivered one of the standout performances of the weekend. The reigning Junior champion swept every session in the Senior category, winning Practice, Qualifying, both Heats, the Pre-Final and the Final.

Despite his remarkable clean sweep, Eshanth fell short of the overall championship title, with Krish’s accumulated points proving sufficient to secure the crown.

Rivaan Dev Preetham Wins Junior Max Championship

Chennai’s Rivaan Dev Preetham of MSPORT secured the Junior Max title despite a difficult final weekend, holding off his Bengaluru-based team-mate Rishik Rohit Reddy in the championship standings.

Rishik dominated the weekend, winning every session, but a strong performance on track was not enough to overcome Rivaan’s points advantage. Rivaan’s title challenge appeared vulnerable after he was caught in a mid-grid incident during the Pre-Final and classified 15th.

He recovered to finish sixth in the Final, collecting the crucial points needed to edge Rishik by a narrow margin in the overall standings.

Arshi Gupta Holds On to Mini Max Crown

Faridabad’s Arshi Gupta of Leapfrog Racing entered the final round with a comfortable championship lead but endured a challenging weekend, failing to win any of the sessions.

However, ninth place in the Pre-Final and 10th in the Final provided enough points for Arshi to preserve her advantage and claim the Mini Max championship.

Bengaluru’s Jishnu Seralathan of Peregrine Racing won the Mini Max Final, while his team-mate Micah Hayden Andrews from Eruvadi emerged victorious in the Pre-Final.

Ayansh Patil Secures Micro Max Championship

Kolhapur’s Ayansh Patil of MSPORT wrapped up the Micro Max title with two podium finishes on Sunday. His results in the Pre-Final and Final enabled him to finish ahead of Mumbai’s Aarav Sureka, also representing MSPORT, in the final championship standings.

The concluding round at Meco Kartopia delivered close racing across all four categories, with championship positions decided by consistency, resilience and the ability to collect points throughout the weekend.

With the national titles decided, the focus now shifts to Portugal, where India’s leading Rotax racers will compete against international talent at the 2026 Rotax Max Challenge Grand Finals.
