India, September 8, 2026: Mahindra & Mahindra has expanded its LCV portfolio with the launch of the new Veero 1.1 XXL CNG and the upgraded Veero Diesel. The latest additions are aimed at meeting the requirements of intra-city logistics operators while offering improved efficiency, technology, comfort and convenience.
The Mahindra Veero was first introduced in September 2024 and marked the debut of Mahindra’s Urban Prosper Platform (UPP), described by the company as India’s first ground-up, multi-energy modular commercial vehicle platform.

Mahindra Veero 1.1 XXL CNG: 1.1-Tonne Payload and 450+ km Range
The new Mahindra Veero 1.1 XXL CNG has been developed primarily for intra-city transportation applications. It combines a 1.1-tonne payload capacity with a 2,900 mm (9.5-foot) cargo deck, giving operators additional cargo space while retaining a compact overall footprint.
The commercial vehicle also gets a 5.1-metre turning radius, which Mahindra says helps improve manoeuvrability on congested city roads and in tight loading and unloading areas.
Power comes from a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated engine developing 48.5 kW of power and 98 Nm of torque.
The Veero 1.1 XXL CNG delivers an ARAI-certified fuel efficiency of 21.4 km/kg. Its combined petrol and CNG driving range is claimed to be over 450 km, helping operators reduce refuelling stops and vehicle downtime.
The new CNG variant is targeted at applications including:
- FMCG distribution
- Fruit and vegetable transportation
- E-commerce deliveries
- Parcel and courier movement
