Yamaha Fascino 125 Fi Hybrid Gets Stylish Design Upgrade; Prices Start at ₹76,500

Bengaluru, April 16, 2026: India Yamaha Motor Pvt. Ltd. has unveiled a refreshed version of its popular Yamaha Fascino 125 Fi Hybrid, introducing a significant design upgrade aimed at appealing to young, style-conscious urban riders.

The updated Fascino 125 Fi Hybrid features a more compact and contemporary silhouette, highlighted by a trimmed rear section that enhances agility and manoeuvrability in city conditions. The redesign focuses heavily on aesthetics, with a newly sculpted tail, redesigned tail lamps, flashers, and Yamaha’s signature V-iconic taillight, giving the scooter a more premium and balanced look.

Refined Design Meets Urban Practicality

The design enhancements, including new decals, have been conceptualised by Yamaha’s India R&D team based on customer feedback. While retaining its core identity, the scooter now reflects a more refined and modern styling language that aligns with evolving consumer preferences.

Commenting on the update, Hajime Aota said the new Fascino represents Yamaha’s continued commitment to innovation and customer-centric design. He emphasised that the scooter’s evolution mirrors changing youth preferences, positioning it as a “trendsetting, unisex mobility solution.”

Evolution of the Fascino Lineup

Since its debut in 2015 as a 110cc lifestyle scooter, the Fascino has undergone multiple upgrades. It transitioned to a BS6-compliant 125cc fuel-injected model in 2019 and became Yamaha’s first hybrid scooter in 2021 with Smart Motor Generator (SMG) technology. Subsequent updates in 2025 introduced Enhanced Power Assist, a Colour TFT instrument cluster, and connectivity features like Turn-by-Turn navigation and the Answer Back function.

The model’s popularity is underscored by a 1.5 million production milestone, which Yamaha is celebrating this month.

Engine, Features and Hybrid Technology

The Fascino 125 Fi Hybrid is powered by Yamaha’s Blue Core 125cc air-cooled, fuel-injected engine. It incorporates hybrid technology with Smart Motor Generator (SMG), Silent Start, Stop & Start System (SSS), and Enhanced Power Assist for improved acceleration and fuel efficiency.
