OnePlus Partners with Bhagwati Products to Manufacture Premium Tablets in India

OnePlus, the leading global technology brand, has announced a strategic collaboration with India’s fastest-growing electronics manufacturing services (EMS) provider, Bhagwati Products Ltd (BPL), to locally produce and deliver its premium tablet range in India. This milestone partnership underscores the shared vision of driving manufacturing excellence and delivering next-generation “Made in India” innovation to the world.

As part of this initiative, OnePlus’ latest premium tablet offerings — the OnePlus Pad 3 and OnePlus Pad Lite — are now being manufactured at BPL’s state-of-the-art flagship facility in Greater Noida. The move further strengthens OnePlus’ presence in the premium tablet segment and reinforces its commitment to hardware innovation, software excellence, and a seamless connected ecosystem.

The collaboration aligns with OnePlus’ long-term India growth strategy and its Project Starlight initiative, which focuses on deepening local integration and expanding manufacturing capabilities in the country. The brand, which already manufactures smartphones in India, has now extended its local production to tablets, marking a significant expansion of its product manufacturing portfolio.

Robin Liu, CEO, OnePlus India, said, “The collaboration with BPL marks a strategic milestone in our India journey towards deepening our manufacturing capabilities and expanding our connected ecosystem. By localizing tablet production, we are not only reinforcing our commitment to India, but also creating meaningful value for our user community. This partnership reflects our long-term vision to innovate for India, invest in India, and grow with India.”

Vikas Jain, Co-Founder, Bhagwati Products Ltd, added, “We are excited to join hands with OnePlus for their new range of tablets. With our rapidly advancing manufacturing capabilities and growing team of experts, we are proud to deliver value and precision. This partnership marks the introduction of a new form factor to our manufacturing expertise, and we look forward to building a long-term, mutually rewarding association.”

With this strategic move, OnePlus continues to expand its manufacturing footprint in India, creating new opportunities for domestic production, boosting the local supply chain, and catering to both Indian and global markets with premium “Made in India” products.
