Bengaluru, India, September 15, 2026: OnePlus has announced the OnePlus N6 Lite, a new addition to its N-series smartphone lineup that combines a large 7,000mAh battery with a 120Hz display, AI-backed features and 36-Month Fluency Protection.

The new smartphone, positioned by OnePlus as a ‘Powerfully Big’ device, will launch in India on September 22, 2026. Pricing, open-sale details and launch offers will be announced on the launch day.

OnePlus N6 Lite gets a 7,000mAh battery

The OnePlus N6 Lite is equipped with a 7,000mAh battery, which the company says can deliver up to three days of usage on a single charge.

According to OnePlus, the battery supports up to 26.8 hours of video playback, 29.9 hours of Google Maps navigation and 49.7 hours of phone calls.

The smartphone also supports wired Reverse Charging, allowing users to share battery power with other compatible devices, including OnePlus audio products.

OnePlus says the battery is designed for long-term reliability and can retain more than 80% of its health after six years, based on testing across 1,600 charge cycles.

6.75-inch 120Hz display with Aqua Touch

The OnePlus N6 Lite features a 6.75-inch display with a segment-leading 120Hz refresh rate. The higher refresh rate is designed to deliver smoother scrolling and more responsive interactions during everyday use, including browsing, content consumption and social media.

The display also incorporates Aqua Touch, which is designed to maintain touch responsiveness when the screen has water, moisture or oil on its surface.

Slim design and MIL-STD-810H durability

Despite its large battery, the OnePlus N6 Lite has a 8.95mm profile and weighs approximately 215 grams.

The smartphone features rounded edges and will be offered in two colour options: Midnight Hype and Neo Green. Midnight Hype gets a dark, muted finish, while Neo Green offers a brighter and more vibrant appearance.

For durability, the device comes with MIL-STD-810H military-grade durability, which OnePlus says is intended to help the phone withstand everyday bumps and drops.

36-Month Fluency Protection and AI features

OnePlus is also focusing on long-term performance with its 36-Month Fluency Protection, designed to help maintain a smooth user experience over an extended period.

The smartphone also gets AI-powered features including AI Clear Face and AI Eraser, aimed at helping users enhance and edit their photos for social media and other uses.

The OnePlus N6 Lite also supports Google Gemini, allowing users to use Google’s AI assistant for everyday tasks, information discovery and exploring ideas.
