Kinetic DX+ 3.1 kWh Electric Scooter Launched at ₹1.27 Lakh With 132 km Range
Pune, India, September 8, 2026: Kinetic has introduced the upgraded Kinetic DX+ 3.1 kWh electric scooter, combining the iconic design of the DX with a larger LFP battery, increased range and a host of features aimed at improving everyday urban mobility.
Priced at ₹1,27,650 (ex-showroom), the new Kinetic DX+ 3.1 kWh gets a 3.1 kWh LFP battery offering a certified IDC range of up to 132 km on a single charge. The battery is paired with a 3.8 kW peak-power hub-mounted BLDC motor.
The updated DX+ retains the model’s distinctive all-metal body, while adding modern electric technology, quick charging, regenerative power technology and connected features.
Kinetic DX+ 3.1 kWh: 132 km IDC Range
The biggest update to the Kinetic DX+ is its new 3.1 kWh LFP battery. According to Kinetic, the battery has been engineered to balance range, durability and everyday usability.
The battery delivers a certified 132 km IDC range, which the company says is intended to give urban commuters greater confidence during daily journeys.
The electric scooter also features K-Coast Tech for power regeneration, allowing energy to be recovered during deceleration to improve overall efficiency.
Charging convenience is addressed through Kinetic’s Easy Charge system and a quick-charging capability that can take the battery from 0 to 80% in approximately three hours.
3.8 kW Motor and Two Riding Modes
Powering the Kinetic DX+ 3.1 kWh is a hub-mounted BLDC motor producing 3.8 kW of peak power.
The scooter gets two riding modes — Range and Power — allowing riders to prioritise efficiency or performance depending on their requirements.
The DX+ also features Park Assist with Reverse, which is designed to make manoeuvring the scooter in tight urban spaces easier.
With 165 mm of ground clearance, a 1,315 mm wheelbase and 12-inch tubeless tyres at both ends, Kinetic says the scooter is designed to deliver a stable and confident ride in everyday urban conditions.
Braking hardware includes a 220 mm front disc brake and a 130 mm rear drum brake.

Kinetic DX Legacy Meets Electric Mobility
According to Ajinkya Firodia, Managing Director and Vice Chairman, Kinetic EV, the new DX+ combines the practicality and recognisable design of the original DX with modern electric technology.
“The DX has always stood for practicality, reliability and a design that connects with generations of Indian consumers,” Firodia said. He added that the new 3.1 kWh LFP battery brings greater range and performance while retaining the familiar DX experience.
The Kinetic DX has a long-standing association with India’s two-wheeler market, and the new DX+ seeks to carry that legacy into the electric mobility era.
With its 3.1 kWh LFP battery, 132 km IDC range, 3.8 kW peak power, regenerative technology, quick charging, Park Assist, Reverse function and IP67 protection, the Kinetic DX+ 3.1 kWh combines the model’s traditional metal-bodied design with features aimed at modern urban commuters.
