TVS Motor Company Sales Jump 38% in July 2026; EV Sales Surge 158%
Bengaluru, India, August 3, 2026: TVS Motor Company reported a strong performance in July 2026, registering a 38% year-on-year growth in total monthly sales. The company sold 629,675 units during the month, compared to 456,350 units in July 2025, driven by robust demand across its two-wheeler, electric vehicle (EV), international, and three-wheeler businesses.
The company’s impressive July sales performance was led by significant growth in domestic two-wheelers and electric vehicles, highlighting the continued momentum in both conventional and electric mobility segments.
TVS Two-Wheeler Sales Grow 38%
TVS Motor Company’s total two-wheeler sales increased 38% to 603,138 units in July 2026, up from 438,790 units in the corresponding month last year.
The domestic market remained a key growth driver, with domestic two-wheeler sales rising 42% to 437,394 units, compared to 308,720 units in July 2025. The strong domestic demand reflects sustained customer interest across the company’s motorcycle and scooter portfolio.
TVS Electric Vehicle Sales Soar 158%
The standout performer for the month was the company’s electric vehicle business.
TVS electric two-wheeler sales surged 158% year-on-year to 60,934 units in July 2026, compared to 23,605 units sold during the same month last year. The exponential growth underscores the increasing adoption of electric mobility in India and strengthens TVS Motor’s position in the rapidly expanding EV market.
International Business Registers Healthy Growth
TVS Motor Company’s international operations also delivered a strong performance in July.
Total international business sales grew 29% to 184,264 units, compared to 142,629 units in July 2025.
International two-wheeler sales increased 27% year-on-year to 165,744 units, up from 130,070 units in the corresponding month last year, reflecting healthy demand across global markets.
Three-Wheeler Sales Rise 51%
The company’s three-wheeler business also recorded impressive growth during the month.
Three-wheeler sales climbed 51% to 26,537 units in July 2026, compared to 17,560 units in July 2025, further contributing to the company’s overall sales momentum.
