Nissan TEKTON Debuts in India at ₹10.49 Lakh with Google Built-in, Turbo Petrol Engines and 700L Boot

Mumbai, India, July 9, 2026: Nissan Motor India has officially unveiled the all-new Nissan TEKTON, marking the global debut of its premium C-SUV in India. Positioned as a key pillar of the company’s resurgence strategy, the TEKTON arrives with introductory prices starting at ₹10.49 lakh for the T160 manual variant and ₹14.99 lakh for the T280 range.

Manufactured at Nissan’s Chennai facility under the brand’s “One Car, One World” philosophy, the TEKTON has been developed for both Indian buyers and international export markets, including the Middle East and Africa.

Patrol-inspired design gives TEKTON a bold identity

The Nissan TEKTON draws heavy inspiration from the iconic Nissan Patrol, adopting a muscular SUV stance with premium styling cues. It features a full-width chrome grille, Signature C-shaped LED connecting headlamps, sculpted bodywork, flush roof rails, aero-tuned spoilers and SynchroFlow connected LED tail lamps.

With 212 mm of ground clearance, commanding proportions and segment-leading approach and departure angles, Nissan says the TEKTON has been engineered for both urban driving and challenging road conditions.

Premium cabin with Google Built-in connectivity

Inside, the TEKTON gets a tri-tone cabin finished in premium leatherette with beige, burgundy and rose gold accents. The SUV features powered and ventilated front seats, a double D-cut steering wheel, dual digital displays and an electronic fly-by-wire gear selector.

One of its biggest highlights is Google Built-in, making TEKTON among the few SUVs in its segment to offer native Google services. Drivers can access:

Both engines feature GT-R-derived Mirror Bore Coating technology, aimed at reducing internal friction while improving efficiency and performance.

The TEKTON also receives dual drive modes, adjustable steering effort and suspension tuned specifically for Indian road conditions.
