LG Unveils 2026 LG gram Lineup at CES 2026 with Aerominum Material and Dual AI Capabilities
Las Vegas: LG Electronics (LG) has announced the unveiling of its 2026 LG gram laptop lineup at CES 2026, marking the next chapter in the brand’s decade-long leadership in the ultra-portable laptop segment. The new LG gram series introduces Aerominum, an all-new ultra-light material developed by LG, alongside advanced dual AI capabilities designed to boost productivity, security and creativity on the go.
Aerominum Redefines Ultra-Light Laptop Design
At the core of the 2026 LG gram evolution is Aerominum, a proprietary composition that significantly reduces weight while enhancing structural strength and durability. Designed for users constantly on the move, the new chassis delivers improved scratch resistance, meets military-grade durability standards, and ensures long-lasting resilience for everyday use.
Aerominum’s aeroplate structure and refined atelier brushing give the laptops a sleek metallic finish, delivering a premium look and feel without compromising portability.
Dual AI for Smarter Productivity
Select models in the 2026 LG gram lineup feature advanced dual AI, combining on-device intelligence with cloud-based AI to support flexible work and creative workflows. The laptops also support Microsoft Copilot+ PC, along with LG gram chat On-Device AI, powered by the upgraded EXAONE 3.5 small-scale language model (sLLM).
This enables fast, private AI assistance even without an internet connection, while the latest processors and optimized performance allow users to handle demanding multitasking, content creation and AI-driven workflows with ease.
Enhanced Connectivity and Security
The new LG gram laptops introduce upgraded gram Link, enabling seamless file sharing, screen mirroring and content transfer across Android, iOS and webOS-based LG devices, including TVs, monitors and projectors. Acting as a universal connectivity hub, gram Link sets a new benchmark for cross-platform compatibility across three major ecosystems.
On the security front, LG ThinQ allows users to remotely lock or erase their PC if it is lost, helping protect sensitive data and personal information.
LG gram Pro 17: World’s Lightest 17-Inch RTX Laptop
The LG gram Pro 17 (17Z90UR) delivers the power of a high-performance 17-inch RTX laptop in a form factor comparable to a typical 16-inch model. It features a large 17-inch WQXGA (2,560 x 1,600) LCD display, designed for immersive viewing and extended productivity without added bulk.
Powering the device is the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5050 laptop GPU with 8GB of GDDR7 memory, offering strong performance for graphics-intensive tasks, content creation and gaming.
LG gram Pro 16: Ultra-Portable Dual AI Powerhouse
The LG gram Pro 16 (16Z90U) sets a new benchmark as the lightest 16-inch laptop in its class to offer both on-device and cloud-based AI. It features a 16-inch WQXGA+ (2,880 x 1,800) OLED display, delivering sharp visuals, rich contrast and a premium viewing experience.
