The Federation of Historic Vehicles of India (FHVI) successfully concluded the FHVI Big Banyan Vineyard & Resort Historic Drive 2025 on Sunday, December 7, in proud partnership with the Bengaluru City Police, uniting heritage motoring with a powerful social message — “A Drug-Free Karnataka.”

Held against the backdrop of Bengaluru’s iconic landmarks, the historic drive brought together passion, purpose and public awareness, reinforcing the shared commitment of FHVI and the Bengaluru City Police towards building a safer, healthier and drug-free society.

Grand Flag-Off at Vidhana Soudha

The event was ceremonially flagged off at Vidhana Soudha at 9:00 am by Hon’ble Home Minister Dr. G. Parameshwara, marking a memorable moment for heritage motoring enthusiasts and citizens alike. The majestic convoy was led by the Bengaluru Police Cavalry, followed by historic motorcycles and cars, creating a striking visual statement in the heart of the city.

A Rolling Showcase of Automotive Heritage

The drive featured an impressive convoy of 60 historic cars and 30 historic motorcycles, showcasing automotive excellence from the 1930s to the 1980s. Iconic marques such as Mercedes-Benz, Jaguar, MG, Ford, Mini Cooper, Volkswagen, Austin, Triumph, and several other classic machines highlighted the evolution of motoring heritage in India.

Spreading Awareness Across Bengaluru

With full support from the Bengaluru City Police and enthusiastic participation from students across the city, the convoy traversed prominent locations including MG Road, Brigade Road, St Joseph’s Grounds, and RV College. Students and citizens actively participated in spreading awareness about drug prevention, witnessing a unique blend of heritage, discipline and civic responsibility.

Celebrating Community, Purpose and Participation

The drive concluded at the scenic Ranch at Big Banyan Vineyard & Resort, where participants and guests reflected on the success of the initiative. The event welcomed distinguished attendees from across India, including vintage vehicle collectors, automotive historians, motoring enthusiasts, business leaders, and representatives from partner institutions.

A Unified Message for a Drug-Free Future
