Bengaluru, India, September 4, 2026: Faridabad’s Arshi Gupta and Kolhapur’s Ayansh Patil produced dominant performances to win the Mini Max and Micro Max categories respectively in the fourth round of the MECO FMSCI Indian National Karting Championship 2026 RMC India at Meco Kartopia in Bengaluru.

Arshi of Leapfrog Racing and Ayansh of MSPORT were virtually unbeatable throughout the day, completing a clean sweep of their respective categories. Both drivers topped Qualifying, both Heats, the Pre-Final and the Final, underlining their dominance in Round 4, which attracted an impressive 73 entries.

Krish Gupta Stuns in Senior Max Final

Mumbai’s Krish Gupta of Rayo Racing delivered one of the standout performances of the day in the Senior Max category, which featured a competitive 25-kart grid.

Krish produced a decisive overtake in the latter stages of the Final to take victory after an intense battle at the front.

Bengaluru’s Akshay Misra of Peregrine Racing initially led the race before Krish made his move. Both drivers had earlier overtaken pole-sitter and Pre-Final winner Arafat Sheikh of Crest Motorsports, setting up a thrilling fight for the Senior Max victory.

Krish ultimately held his nerve to claim the top step of the podium.

Rivaan Dev Preetham Rules Junior Max

The Junior Max Final belonged to Chennai’s 13-year-old Rivaan Dev Preetham, who produced a commanding performance to take victory.

The MSPORT driver, who was the Mini Max champion last year, also won the Pre-Final and was in a class of his own in the Final despite facing close attention during the early stages.

The battle behind Rivaan was considerably more intense, with around six drivers fighting for the remaining two podium positions.

The contest eventually saw Rehan Khan Rasheed and Rishik Rohit Reddy lose ground following contact. Abhishikt Barse was classified second, while Hamza Balasinorwala took third following post-race penalties.

In the Pre-Final, Rivaan also had to withstand sustained pressure from Rishik Rohit Reddy. Rishik was unable to find the additional pace required to challenge for victory and finished second, while Rehan Khan Rasheed fought his way into third.

Arshi Gupta Completes Mini Max Clean Sweep

Nine-year-old Arshi Gupta continued her impressive run in the Mini Max category with another dominant victory.

Starting the Mini Max Pre-Final from pole position, the Leapfrog Racing driver made a strong getaway and quickly established control of the race. Consistent lap times allowed Arshi to maintain a comfortable advantage over Shiv Tummala, with Micah Hayden Andrews completing the top three.

Arshi then extended her winning streak in the Final, producing another virtually unchallenged performance to take the Mini Max victory.

The result was the culmination of a perfect Round 4 for the young driver, who topped every competitive session from Qualifying through to the Final.

Ayansh Patil Continues Micro Max Dominance

Kolhapur’s Ayansh Patil was equally impressive in the Micro Max category.

The MSPORT driver completed a clean sweep of the category, winning the Qualifying session, both Heats, Pre-Final and Final.

Ayansh rarely put a foot wrong throughout the day and maintained his advantage through the crucial Pre-Final and Final races to secure a deserved victory.

His performance further underlined his status as one of the leading drivers in the Micro Max field during the 2026 Indian National Karting Championship.

Round 4 Produces High-Level Karting Action

The fourth round at Meco Kartopia, Bengaluru, produced a combination of dominant individual performances and close racing across the categories.

While Arshi Gupta and Ayansh Patil stamped their authority on the Mini Max and Micro Max classes, the Senior Max and Junior Max categories delivered much closer battles, particularly during their respective Finals.
