Tata Curvv Series X Launched in India at ₹9.99 Lakh: Gets New Features, Multiple Powertrain Options
Mumbai, India, September 3, 2026: Tata Cars has launched the new Curvv Series X in India, expanding the portfolio of its SUV coupé with a stronger focus on value, comfort, technology, safety and performance. The new Tata Curvv Series X is priced from ₹9.99 lakh (ex-showroom) and introduces a wider range of variants and features across its lineup.
The new Curvv Series X is positioned as a more accessible version of Tata’s SUV coupé, combining its distinctive design with a range of premium features and multiple engine and transmission options. The range includes Smart X, Pure X, Pure X+, Pure X+ #DARK, Creative X+, Creative X+ #DARK, Accomplished X and Accomplished X+ variants.
Tata Curvv Series X Price
The entry-level Curvv Smart X is priced at ₹9.99 lakh, while the Pure X starts at ₹10.99 lakh. The Pure X+ is priced at ₹11.79 lakh and the Pure X+ #DARK costs ₹11.99 lakh.
The Creative X+ starts at ₹12.90 lakh, while the Creative X+ #DARK is priced at ₹13.15 lakh. Higher-spec Accomplished X and Accomplished X #DARK variants are priced from ₹13.99 lakh and ₹14.24 lakh, respectively.
The range-topping Curvv Accomplished X+ starts at ₹18.49 lakh, while the Accomplished X+ #DARK is priced from ₹18.74 lakh. Prices vary depending on the engine and transmission combination.
Tata Curvv Series X: Features and Variants
The Smart X variant focuses on everyday comfort, convenience and safety. It gets India’s first R-Comfort Seats with passive ventilation, R17 Aero Style Wheels, a rear armrest with EasySip Cup Docks, flush door handles and Multi Drive Modes.
Safety features include six airbags, ESP and ABS with EBD as standard, along with LED headlamps, DRLs and taillamps. The variant also gets a digital instrument cluster and Reverse Guide Parking Assist.
The Pure X and Pure X+ variants add more technology and convenience features. These include a 10.25-inch Ultra View infotainment system by HARMAN, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a six-speaker audio system, fully automatic temperature control, cruise control, push-button start, auto-fold ORVMs and rear AC vents.
The Pure X+ additionally gets a Plus Lux Leatherette Pack with Oyster White leatherette seats and R17 diamond-cut alloy wheels. It is also available in the #DARK edition with blacked-out interior and exterior elements.
Moving up to the Creative X+, Tata adds an AeroView voice-assisted panoramic sunroof, R18 diamond-cut alloy wheels and a 360-degree 3D surround-view camera with blind-view monitor. The variant also gets a 10.25-inch HARMAN infotainment system paired with a 10.25-inch digital cockpit featuring navigation display.
Additional equipment includes TPMS, automatic headlamps, rain-sensing wipers and an illuminated cooled glove box.
Tata Curvv Accomplished X Gets ADAS
The range-topping Accomplished X and Accomplished X+ variants bring additional premium and safety technologies. Both are equipped with an L2 ADAS suite, while the Accomplished X+ adds a gesture-controlled powered tailgate.
Other highlights include sequential Light Saber LED DRLs and taillamps with welcome and goodbye animations, ambient mood lighting, ventilated front seats and an Ergo Lux six-way powered driver’s seat.
The variants also feature an immersive JBL sound system with a 12.3-inch HARMAN infotainment system and nine speakers, along with a wireless charger, twin-zone climate control, Breathe IQ air purifier, iRA connected-car technology and Alexa integration.
Tata Curvv Series X Engine and Transmission Options
The Tata Curvv Series X is offered with multiple powertrain and transmission combinations. The price table lists Revotron 1.2, Hyperion 1.2 GDI and Kryojet 1.5 CRAIL engine options, depending on the variant.
Transmission choices include manual and DCT automatic options across the range. The higher variants also receive additional powertrain combinations as outlined in Tata’s official price list.
Tata Curvv Series X: Tata’s Value-Focused SUV Coupé
According to Tata Cars, the Curvv Series X follows the customer-first approach introduced with the Curvv.ev Series X earlier this year. The company says the new range combines SUV coupé styling, performance, comfort, premium features and safety at a more attractive price point.
Commenting on the launch, Vivek Srivatsa, Chief Commercial Officer, Tata Passenger Electric Mobility Ltd., said the Curvv Series X strengthens the SUV coupé proposition by combining design, performance, comfort, premium features and safety while making the Curvv experience accessible to a wider customer base.
With prices starting at ₹9.99 lakh, the Tata Curvv Series X expands the company’s SUV coupé offering with a broad variant lineup, multiple powertrain choices and features ranging from panoramic sunroofs and connected technology to 360-degree cameras and Level 2 ADAS.
