Inspired by Škoda’s Motorsport Heritage
The Monte Carlo badge represents one of Škoda’s most iconic performance lineages, paying tribute to the company’s participation in the legendary Rallye Monte Carlo, where it has competed since 1912 and secured multiple victories and podium finishes over the decades.
Škoda Auto India also highlighted the brand’s recent achievement of setting an India and Asia Book of Records title for the Fastest Multi-Car Relay of a Single Manufacturer on a Circuit. The feat was accomplished at the CoASTT circuit in Coimbatore using five Škoda models—the Slavia Monte Carlo, Kushaq Monte Carlo, Kylaq, Kodiaq, and the limited-production Octavia RS.
The combined relay lap, including driver changeovers, was completed in 12 minutes and 30.97 seconds, forming the basis of the company’s “Greatest On A Track is a Škoda On A Track” campaign that showcases the driving dynamics and engineering capabilities across its model range.
