Vinay Madaiah Crowned Fastest Driver at Dust to the Clouds-4 Hill Climb in Kuppam
Bengaluru, India, June 9, 2026: Bengaluru’s Vinay Madaiah delivered a stellar performance to emerge as the Overall Fastest Driver and King of the Hill at the fourth edition of the Motorsports Inc Dust to the Clouds Hill Climb, an FMSCI-approved four-wheeler event held at Mallappa Konda near Kuppam on Sunday.
The popular grassroots motorsport competition, organised by Jaidas Menon-led Motorsport Inc, attracted a strong field of 146 competitors from across South India, making it one of the largest hill climb events in the region.
Driving a Honda City prepared by Bengaluru-based tuner Joel Joseph and the Race Concepts team, Madaiah clocked a blistering 3min 32.393sec in the Indian Open category to record the fastest run of the event and secure the coveted Fastest Driver title.
Madaiah’s dominant outing saw him win the Up to 1650cc and Indian Open classes while also finishing runner-up in the Up to 2000cc and Unrestricted categories, underlining his consistency across multiple classes.
“With 117 timed runs and a highly competitive field, this was one of the toughest hill climbs I have contested. Winning the King of the Hill title at Mallappa Konda and finishing as the Overall Fastest Driver is an achievement I will cherish for a long time. I thank Joel Joseph and the Race Concepts team for preparing a fast and reliable Honda City, and Motorsports Inc for organising a flawless event,” said Madaiah.
Indian Open Battle Goes Down to the Wire
The Indian Open category produced one of the closest contests of the day, with Madaiah edging out Hussain Mujawar by just 2.448 seconds. Mujawar finished second with a time of 3min 34.841sec, while Kiran Reddy completed the podium in third place.
Despite narrowly missing out on the overall honours, Mujawar enjoyed a highly successful weekend, claiming victories in the Up to 1400cc, Up to 2000cc, and Club Open categories.
