EKA Mobility Expands Dealer Network Across India to Boost Commercial EV Adoption

National, May 26, 2026: EKA Mobility has announced a major expansion of its authorised dealership network across India as the company accelerates efforts to strengthen the country’s commercial electric vehicle ecosystem and address last-mile EV infrastructure challenges.

The Indian commercial EV manufacturer currently operates 60 dealerships nationwide and plans to open more than 30 additional exclusive outlets in the coming months. The expansion is aimed at improving customer access to sales, servicing and support infrastructure, particularly in high-growth logistics corridors, dense urban centres and emerging Tier 2 and Tier 3 markets.

Backed by global investors including Mitsui & Co., VDL Group, NIIF India-Japan Fund and Enam Holdings, EKA Mobility is also recognised as a Champion OEM under the Government of India’s Auto PLI Scheme.

The company said the network expansion aligns with India’s push towards electric mobility and greater public transport adoption, while also supporting industries such as e-commerce, FMCG distribution, logistics and urban transport.

According to Rohit Srivastava, the company’s focus is on creating a dependable ecosystem for electric commercial vehicle customers.

“Last-mile connectivity is at the heart of India’s mobility transformation. With a presence across 15 states, we are steadily building a strong and accessible retail ecosystem for our customers,” said Srivastava.

“As demand for electric commercial vehicles grows, it is important that customers have easy access not just to products, but also to dependable service and long-term support.”

He added that the company plans to scale its network to more than 200 dealerships across 20-plus states by FY27, significantly strengthening its national footprint.

Each dealership has been purpose-built for commercial EV operations and includes dedicated service bays, factory-trained technicians and assured spare parts availability to maximise fleet uptime for commercial operators.

EKA Mobility’s expanding portfolio includes a wide range of electric commercial vehicles designed and manufactured in India under its ‘Born Electric’ platform. The lineup features the EKA 3W Cargo for urban logistics, the EKA 6S, and the EKA 3S for city mobility solutions.

Its four-wheeler small commercial vehicle range includes the EKA 1.5T – 3.5T targeted at mid-mile logistics operations.

The company also manufactures electric buses including the EKA 7M, EKA 9M and EKA 12M, along with electric coaches and low-floor urban transit solutions for varied transportation requirements.

In the heavy commercial segment, EKA Mobility offers the EKA 7T and EKA 55T for cargo and haulage applications.

All vehicles are integrated with EKA Connect, the company’s AI-powered fleet management platform that provides real-time vehicle tracking, predictive diagnostics and operational efficiency analytics to fleet operators.

As part of its manufacturing expansion strategy, EKA Mobility currently operates facilities in Koregaon Bhima and Chakan, while a new 47-acre manufacturing facility is under development at Pithampur.

Once fully operational, the company’s combined manufacturing capacity is expected to support annual production of 15,000 buses, 24,000 small commercial vehicles and 4,000 trucks, reinforcing EKA Mobility’s ambition to become a major player in India’s rapidly growing electric commercial vehicle market.
