Mumbai, April 25, 2026: Indian motorsport is accelerating onto the global stage, with Mumbai Falcons Racing League (MFRL) delivering a standout performance at the UAE Rotax Max Championship 2025–26 season. The team secured two championship titles, five podium finishes, and the overall Teams’ Championship—cementing its reputation as a leading force in developing world-class racing talent from India.

Championship Wins and Dominant Performances

At the top tier of competition, Tyla Harris clinched the DD2 Championship with an impressive 1123 points, while Maurits Knopjes dominated the DD2 Masters category with 941 points. Their performances established Mumbai Falcons as a powerhouse in one of the Middle East’s most competitive karting championships.

Indian Drivers Shine on Global Stage

The biggest highlight for Indian motorsport came from its emerging young stars. Mitansh Jain finished as Junior Max Vice-Champion with a stellar 960-point campaign, showcasing consistency and race-winning pace throughout the season.

Close behind, Arhaan Koreishi secured third place in the Junior Max category, demonstrating rapid progression and strong finishes toward the latter half of the season. Meanwhile, Nathan Kappen added to the team’s success by finishing third overall in Senior Max.

Success Extends to IAME UAE Championship

Mumbai Falcons’ dominance extended beyond Rotax, as the team also celebrated success in the IAME UAE Championship. Mitansh Jain was crowned Junior Champion, while Rayan Koreishi secured the Vice-Champion title in the Senior category.

These achievements earned the team a coveted entry into the prestigious IAME World Finals, further strengthening India’s presence on the global karting map.

Building India’s Global Motorsport Pipeline

According to Team Principal Anjum Shaikh, the season reflects both consistency at the highest level and the rapid rise of Indian drivers in international competition.

MFRL’s performance highlights a structured and high-performance ecosystem designed to nurture future champions. Beyond podium finishes, the team demonstrated depth, resilience, and sustained excellence—key ingredients for long-term success in motorsport.
