Mahindra Launches New XUV 7XO at ₹13.66 Lakh, Redefines Premium SUV Segment in India
Mumbai: Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd., India’s leading SUV manufacturer, has officially launched the new Mahindra XUV 7XO, positioning it as the brand’s latest technology-led trendsetter. Priced from ₹13.66 lakh (ex-showroom), the XUV 7XO builds on the success of the XUV700, which has attracted over 3 lakh customers since its debut in 2021, and raises the bar for high-end SUVs in the Indian market.
Designed to deliver a next-generation SUV experience, the Mahindra XUV 7XO blends cutting-edge technology, premium luxury, and authentic SUV capability. The company’s philosophy of democratising advanced technology is evident, with high-end features offered right from the base variant.
Advanced Technology from the Base Variant
The entry-level AX variant comes equipped with a coast-to-coast 31.24 cm triple HD screen setup, Intelligent ADRENOX infotainment, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, Alexa built-in with ChatGPT integration, cruise control, push-button start/stop, and 75 safety features as standard, setting new benchmarks for value and accessibility in the segment.

Design, Technology and Comfort Highlights
The XUV 7XO features an expressive new design, highlighted by a full-width piano-black grille with jewel-like talon accents, Bi-LED projector headlamps, diamond-inspired LED tail lamps, and R19 diamond-cut alloy wheels, delivering Mahindra’s signature “tough-premium” SUV character.
Inside, the SUV offers a 16-speaker Harman Kardon audio system with India’s first Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos, Level-2 ADAS with dynamic visualisation, a 540-degree surround camera, frameless electrochromic IRVM, ventilated front and rear seats, powered seats with Boss Mode, and a host of connected-car features via ADRENOX+, powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon SA8155P chipset.
Performance and Safety
Powering the XUV 7XO are Mahindra’s 2.0L mStallion TGDi petrol and 2.2L mHawk diesel engines, with the diesel also offering first-in-segment All-Wheel Drive capability. The SUV also debuts Mahindra’s DAVINCI valve-based damping technology, promising superior ride comfort and handling.
On the safety front, the XUV 7XO offers over 120 safety features, Level-2 ADAS with 17 functions, 7 airbags, electronic parking brake with auto hold, digital video recording, and is engineered for a 5-star Bharat NCAP rating.
