Mahindra Trucks and Buses Expands Presence with New 3S Dealership in Bengaluru

Bengaluru, Karnataka – 26 August 2025: Mahindra’s Truck and Bus Business (MTB), part of the Mahindra Group, today announced the inauguration of its state-of-the-art 3S dealership in Bengaluru. The new facility, operated by M/s Northstar Motors, strengthens the company’s after-sales and service footprint, reinforcing its commitment to customer-centricity and reliability in the Indian commercial vehicle (CV) industry.

Expanding Dealer Network

The Bengaluru outlet, equipped with 9 service bays, can service over 8 vehicles per day and offers driver lodging, 24-hour breakdown assistance, and AdBlue availability. With this inauguration, Mahindra Trucks and Buses now has 84 dealerships, while its combined network with SML Isuzu Ltd. stands at 185 dealerships and 597 authorized workshops across India.

Speaking at the inauguration, Mr. Vinod Sahay, Executive Chairman, SML Isuzu Ltd., and President – Aerospace & Defense, Trucks, Buses & Construction Equipment, Mahindra Group, said:

“Delighted to inaugurate our new state-of-the-art dealership in Bengaluru. Together, Mahindra Trucks and Buses and SML Isuzu now operate one of the fastest-growing networks in the country. With a current 7% market share in trucks and buses and 24% in I&LCV buses, we aim to scale up to 10-12% by FY31and 20% by FY36.”

Customer-Centric Innovations

Dr. Venkat Srinivas, ED & CEO – SML Isuzu Ltd. and Business Head – Mahindra Trucks, Buses & Construction Equipment, highlighted the company’s customer-first strategy:

“Be it our iMAXX telematics platform that empowers fleet owners, or our industry-first double service guarantees, we are committed to offering unmatched value. Our products not only ensure superior mileage but also guarantee maximum uptime.”

Mahindra’s CV range – BLAZO X, FURIO, OPTIMO, and JAYO – is the only truck portfolio in India backed with double service guarantees:

  • Back on road in 48 hours or customers receive ₹1,000 per day compensation.
  • Turnaround within 36 hours at dealer workshops or the company pays ₹3,000 per day.

These disruptive commitments, coupled with continuous product innovation and after-sales support, have positioned Mahindra Trucks and Buses as a strong challenger in India’s competitive CV market.

Future Growth Plans

With robust volume growth in the past four years and a rapidly expanding service network, Mahindra Trucks and Buses is now poised to accelerate its journey towards higher market share, innovation-driven products, and enhanced customer satisfaction.
