Kia India, a leading premium carmaker in the country, has reported a strong year-on-year (YoY) growth of 8% in July 2025, registering dispatches of 22,135 units to its dealerships across India. The automaker continues its upward trajectory despite ongoing market fluctuations, with the Kia Seltos leading the charge as the most popular model in the brand’s portfolio.
In comparison to July 2024, where Kia dispatched 20,002 units, the latest performance marks a sustained demand across the company’s product range. The cumulative sales for CY2025 (January to July) now stand at 163,360 units, underlining the brand’s growing foothold in the Indian passenger vehicle segment.

- Kia Sonet – 7,904 units

The premium EV6, though limited in volume, underscores Kia’s commitment to its EV roadmap in India.
Strong Year-to-Date Growth Despite Market Challenges
Kia India’s CY2025 cumulative performance (Jan–Jul) reflects a 6.4% YoY growth over the 153,298 units dispatched during the same period in 2024. This growth is particularly noteworthy considering the challenging macroeconomic environment and evolving customer preferences in the automotive space.
