Chennai, India, August 3, 2026: Young karting sensation Aaruthran Prabhu delivered a flawless performance in the Mini Under-10 category as Round 4 of the IAME India Series Karting Championship 2026 concluded at the Madras International Karting Arena (MIKA) on Sunday. Promoted by RA Motorsports and organised by the Madras Motor Sports Club (MMSC), the championship witnessed thrilling battles across the Mini, Junior and Senior categories.

The youngster from Kumaraburam dominated the Under-10 class, topping the official practice session, Heat, Super Heat and the Final to complete a dream weekend.

Aaruthran Prabhu Dominates Mini Under-10 Category

Representing Kartkrew Motorsports, Aaruthran Prabhu, who won a gold medal at the FIA Asia Pacific Motorsports Championship in Sri Lanka last year, maintained his unbeaten run throughout Round 4.

The talented youngster topped every session in the Under-10 class, underlining his growing reputation as one of India’s brightest karting prospects.

Rehan Khan Rasheed Continues Junior Class Dominance

Chennai’s Rehan Khan Rasheed of Momentum Motorsports emerged as the standout performer in the Junior category.

After setting the pace throughout the weekend, Rehan won both the Super Heat and the Final, overcoming an early challenge from teammate Adithya Pratap. Although Adithya briefly led the Final, Rehan regained the lead in the closing laps to secure another impressive victory.

Rudra Gokulnath Wins Mini Final

The Mini class produced one of the closest contests of the weekend.

UK-based Rudra Gokulnath, racing for NKRA with Momentum, bounced back from his Super Heat defeat to claim victory in the Final. He overtook Super Heat winner Shiv Neel, son of India’s first Formula One driver Narain Karthikeyan, to emerge victorious and avenge his earlier loss.

Rudra’s pace throughout the race highlighted his growing potential as he delivered one of the standout drives of the meeting.

Kairav Roberson Unbeaten in Senior Category

In the Senior class, Chennai’s Kairav Roberson of MSPORT proved too strong for the competition.

He comfortably won both the Super Heat and the Final, finishing ahead of Delhi’s Armaan Dhawan of Leap Frog Racing to strengthen his position in the championship.

Mini and Under-10 Races Steal the Show

The combined Mini and Under-10 races produced some of the closest action of the weekend.

The Super Heat saw Aaruthran Prabhu withstand intense pressure to secure victory, while Shiv Neel climbed through the field to finish second overall and first in the Mini category.

The Final delivered even more drama. Rudra Gokulnath patiently shadowed race leader Aaruthran Prabhu before making a decisive move on the final lap of the 12-lap race to take the overall victory. Although Rudra won the Mini class, Aaruthran comfortably secured top honours in the concurrently run Under-10 category.

Round 3 winner Shiv Neel endured a disappointing finale, finishing fourth in the Mini class and sixth overall on the combined grid.

IAME India Series Heads to Bengaluru Finale

The five-round IAME India Series Karting Championship 2026 will conclude on August 31 at the Meco Kartopia circuit in Bengaluru, where the season champions across all categories will be decided.
