Kia Syros EV Launched in India at ₹13.49 Lakh; Offers Up to 526 km Range, Lifetime Battery Warranty
New Delhi, India, July 23, 2026: Kia India has officially launched the Kia Syros EV in India, its second made-in-India mass-market electric vehicle, with prices starting at ₹13.49 lakh (ex-showroom). The new electric SUV is available with two battery pack options, delivers an ARAI-certified range of up to 526 km, and comes with an industry-leading ownership package that includes a Lifetime High Voltage Battery Warranty, Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) and an Assured Buyback programme.
The Kia Syros EV will go on sale across Kia dealerships nationwide from July 30, 2026.

Up to 526 km Certified Range
The Kia Syros EV is available with two battery packs:
- 42 kWh battery – ARAI-certified range of 443 km
- 51.4 kWh battery – ARAI-certified range of 526 km, making it the first vehicle in its segment to cross the 500 km mark.
Power comes from a 171 PS electric motor, enabling the extended-range version to sprint from 0-100 kmph in just 8.1 seconds.
The EV uses an IP67-rated Nickel Manganese Cobalt (NMC) battery with liquid-cooled thermal management for reliable performance in Indian conditions.
Fast Charging and EV Technology
The Syros EV supports 100 kW DC fast charging, allowing the battery to charge from 10 to 80 percent in just 39 minutes. It also features a 10.8 kW onboard AC charger and Battery Conditioning technology to optimise charging speeds.
Other EV-specific technologies include:

- Regenerative braking with paddle shifters
