Nissan India Reports 75% Domestic Sales Growth in April 2026, Driven by Gravite and Magnite Demand
Bengaluru, May 1, 2026: Nissan Motor India Pvt. Ltd. has kicked off the new financial year on a strong note, reporting a 75% year-on-year growth in domestic sales for April 2026. The automaker recorded total sales of 5,388 units, comprising 3,203 domestic units and 2,185 export units, highlighting its growing footprint in both local and global markets.
Strong Momentum Led by GRAVITE and Magnite
A major contributor to Nissan’s performance has been the rising popularity of the All-New Nissan GRAVITE, which has quickly gained traction among Indian buyers. The SUV’s 7-seat modular design, comfort, and everyday practicality have resonated strongly with families and urban consumers alike.
Meanwhile, the Nissan Magnite continues to serve as a cornerstone for the brand in India. The compact SUV remains highly competitive in its segment, sustaining steady demand and reinforcing Nissan’s position in the market.
