McLaren Racing Announces ‘McLaren Racing Live: Miami’ Five-Day Fan Experience Ahead of Historic 1,000th GP
McLaren Racing has announced McLaren Racing Live: Miami, a five-day immersive fan experience set to take place from April 29 to May 3 at Regatta Harbour. The event will bring fans closer to the world of Formula 1 with interactive experiences, historic race cars, and live race weekend screenings.
The large-scale activation forms part of the team’s celebrations as it approaches its 1,000th Formula 1 Grand Prix, a milestone achieved by only one other team in the sport’s history — Scuderia Ferrari.
Five Days of F1-Themed Experiences for Fans
The event will build on the success of previous fan activations including McLaren Racing Live: London and McLaren Racing Live: Zone Studio held in Austin last year.
Open to the public, the Miami experience will allow visitors to explore McLaren’s rich racing heritage and cutting-edge technology. Fans attending the event will be able to view historic and championship-winning McLaren race cars, see the 2025 Constructors’ Trophy, and test their driving skills on professional racing simulators.
The venue will also feature giant screens broadcasting every on-track session from the race weekend live, creating a communal viewing experience for fans unable to attend the circuit.
The Hangar and Regatta Grove to Anchor the Event
The fan experience will include multiple themed spaces designed to immerse visitors in the McLaren ecosystem.
- The Hangar: The central activation zone featuring garage-style displays, McLaren race cars, simulators, artwork and partner activations.
- Regatta Grove: A dedicated food and beverage destination designed to serve as a social hub for fans throughout the five-day event.
Visitors will also be able to shop the latest McLaren Racing merchandise collections, further enhancing the fan festival atmosphere.
Major Global Partners Join the Experience
The event will be supported by presenting partners including Allwyn, Google (through its Gemini AI platform), and Mastercard. Additional activations will be delivered by McLaren partners such as Cisco, Dell Technologies, Hilton, Iron Mountain, Logitech G, PUMA and Sonic the Hedgehog.
Free Entry for Fans
The fan zone will be free to access, with additional details on opening hours, ticket registration and special activations expected to be announced closer to the event through the McLaren Racing Club website, mobile app and social media platforms.
Members of the McLaren Racing Club will also have the opportunity to win exclusive once-in-a-lifetime fan experiences in Miami, including special access during the race weekend.
McLaren on Bringing Fans Closer to the Team
Commenting on the event, Louise McEwen, Chief Marketing Officer at McLaren Racing, said Miami provides the perfect stage for celebrating the team’s relationship with fans.
She noted that the initiative aims to bring supporters closer to McLaren’s racing heritage and the excitement of Formula 1, building on the success of the McLaren Racing Live: London event which attracted around 40,000 fans.
With its upcoming 1,000th Formula 1 Grand Prix milestone, the Miami fan takeover promises to deliver one of the largest and most immersive off-track fan experiences ever created by the team.
