Flexible Ownership Plans: BaaS and e Flex
To make electric mobility more affordable, Maruti Suzuki has introduced innovative ownership models:
- Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS): A dual-loan finance product that removes the upfront battery cost. Customers pay ₹10.99 lakh for the vehicle, plus a battery usage EMI starting at ₹3.99 per km.
- ‘e Flex’ Scheme: Enables customers to upgrade to the e VITARA with an EMI similar to their existing car, lowering the financial barrier to EV adoption.
- Assured Buyback Plans:
- 3 years / 45,000 km – Up to 60% assured buyback value
- 4 years / 60,000 km – 50% assured buyback value
These schemes aim to reduce ownership risks while improving resale value confidence.
Battery Options and Warranty Coverage
The e VITARA is available with 61 kWh and 49 kWh battery pack options, both backed by an 8-year or 1,60,000 km battery warranty (whichever is earlier).
The vehicle comes with a standard 3-year warranty, with the option to extend coverage up to 8 years.
Advanced Safety and Technology
The electric SUV is equipped with Level 2 ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System) features, including:
- Adaptive Cruise Control
- Lane Keep Assist
- Blind Spot Monitoring
- Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB)
Safety is further strengthened with 7 airbags (including a driver-side knee airbag) as standard.
The e VITARA has earned a 5-star Bharat NCAP safety rating, built on the advanced HEARTECT-e platform that incorporates over 60% ultra-high-tensile and high-tensile steel for structural integrity. The SUV also features an advanced battery protection system for enhanced safety.
On the connectivity front, Next-Gen Suzuki Connect offers more than 60 smart features, enhancing convenience and remote vehicle management.
