TGR Haas F1 Team Unveils VF-26 Livery and 2026 Formula 1 Car Ahead of New Regulation Era
January 19, 2026: TGR Haas F1 Team has officially revealed the VF-26, its challenger for the 2026 FIA Formula 1 World Championship, showcasing a bold new white livery with striking red accents. The American team unveiled the car through a series of digital renders across its social media platforms ahead of the new season, which begins with the Australian Grand Prix from March 6–8.
Entering its 11th season in Formula 1, TGR Haas F1 Team will field the VF-26 across a 24-round championship, driven by Ollie Bearman and Esteban Ocon.
VF-26 Designed for Formula 1’s New 2026 Regulations
The VF-26 has been developed to meet Formula 1’s all-new 2026 technical regulations, which usher in a new era of smaller, lighter, and more agile cars. The new-generation machines feature significantly reduced downforce and drag, narrower Pirelli tyres, and more compact dimensions.
Powering the VF-26 is a Ferrari power unit operating on a 50/50 split between internal combustion and electric power, running on 100 percent sustainable fuel, aligning Formula 1 with its long-term sustainability goals.
TOYOTA GAZOO Racing Title Partnership Reflected in New Livery
The 2026 livery also marks the first full season of TOYOTA GAZOO Racing (TGR) as title partner, following the announcement of the partnership in December 2025. As part of Toyota Motor Corporation’s motorsport division, TGR branding will feature prominently on the VF-26 throughout the season.
The partnership builds on the multi-year technical collaboration established in October 2024, centered around the core principles of “People, Product, Pipeline”—developing drivers, engineers, and mechanics to support a sustainable motorsport ecosystem.
Leadership Confident Ahead of Competitive 2026 Season
Gene Haas, Founder and Owner of TGR Haas F1 Team, highlighted the challenge of balancing 2025 competition with the development of the all-new VF-26, emphasizing the importance of pre-season testing and continuity in drivers and engineering personnel.
Team Principal Ayao Komatsu described the unveiling as a significant milestone, noting the team’s focus on readiness for Shakedown Week in Barcelona and the crucial role of early track time in understanding the new regulations.
2026 Testing Schedule Confirmed
TGR Haas F1 Team will take the VF-26 to the track for the first time at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya during Shakedown Week from January 26–30. This will be followed by two official pre-season tests at the Bahrain International Circuit, scheduled for February 11–13 and February 18–20, ahead of the season opener in Australia.
As Formula 1 prepares for its most significant technical overhaul in years, the unveiling of the VF-26 signals TGR Haas F1 Team’s intent to be competitive in a transformed 2026 championship landscape.
