TVS Supply Chain Solutions Secures Three-Year In-Plant Logistics Contract from Daimler India Commercial Vehicles

Chennai: TVS Supply Chain Solutions Limited (TVSSCS), a leading global supply chain solutions provider, has announced that it has secured a three-year contract from Daimler India Commercial Vehicles (DICV) to manage in-plant warehouse operations at DICV’s manufacturing facility in Chennai. The partnership further strengthens TVS SCS’s position as a trusted logistics partner to global automotive majors.

Under the agreement, TVS Supply Chain Solutions will oversee end-to-end in-plant warehouse operations, ensuring seamless material flow, optimised inventory management and enhanced operational efficiency within DICV’s production facility. As part of the engagement, approximately 700 TVS SCS employees will be deployed at the Chennai plant.

The collaboration will leverage advanced digital and automation-led technologies to support Daimler India Commercial Vehicles’ manufacturing operations. These include IoT-based tracking systems for real-time visibility of materials, automation-enabled processes to reduce manual handling, predictive analytics for smarter planning, and digital dashboards for centralized performance monitoring. Together, these capabilities aim to strengthen DICV’s production ecosystem while maintaining high standards of efficiency and quality.
