Bolt.Earth and Statiq Partner to Expand Nationwide EV Fast-Charging Access in India
Interoperable EV charging networks to offer seamless access, integrated payments, and wider fast-charging coverage for four-wheelers
New Delhi, India: Bolt.Earth, India’s largest peer-to-peer (P2P) electric vehicle (EV) charging network, has announced a strategic partnership with Statiq, one of the country’s fastest-growing EV charging networks offering AC and high-speed DC fast-charging solutions for four-wheelers. The collaboration aims to significantly enhance nationwide EV charging access by delivering a seamless, interoperable charging experience for EV users across India.
Under the partnership, EV drivers can now locate, access, and pay for chargers across both Bolt.Earth and Statiq networks directly through either mobile application. This integration eliminates the need for multiple charging apps and expands the availability of fast-charging options, making EV charging more convenient and universally accessible.
By integrating Statiq’s extensive four-wheeler DC fast-charging infrastructure with Bolt.Earth’s universal charging platform, the collaboration unlocks access to a rapidly growing network of high-speed charging stations across key Indian cities, highways, and commercial hubs. The move is expected to deliver a smoother, more reliable charging experience while helping reduce range anxiety among EV users.
Statiq operates one of India’s largest and fastest-growing EV charging networks, with a strong footprint across urban centres and intercity routes. Its AC and DC fast-charging solutions support reliable everyday and long-distance travel, enabling EV drivers to plan journeys with greater confidence.
Commenting on the partnership, Akshit Bansal, Founder and CEO of Statiq, said, “At Statiq, our vision has always been to make public charging simple, reliable, and widely accessible. Partnering with Bolt.Earth allows us to connect two strong networks and provide EV drivers with more fast-charging options through a seamless experience. By reducing the need for multiple apps and enabling a unified charging journey, we are accelerating the shift toward an open and interoperable EV charging ecosystem in India.”
The collaboration also addresses key user pain points by offering integrated payments, real-time charger availability, and access to a broader charging network through a single interface.
Bolt.Earth brings its universal charging platform to the partnership, supporting two-wheelers, three-wheelers, and four-wheelers. Its community-driven P2P network spans over 1,900 cities across India, enabling individuals, businesses, and fleet operators to actively participate in expanding the country’s EV charging infrastructure.
S Raghav Bharadwaj, CEO and Founder of Bolt.Earth, said, “Interoperability is the future of EV charging in India. By uniting Bolt.Earth’s universal network with Statiq’s robust fast-charging infrastructure, we are delivering unmatched accessibility and convenience to EV users. This partnership helps eliminate app fragmentation, ease range anxiety, and provide a single, real-time view of charging options—making EV charging simpler and more user-friendly.”
