All-New MINI Convertible Sold Out Within 24 Hours of India Launch

The first batch of the all-new MINI Convertible has been completely sold out within just 24 hours of its launch in India, highlighting strong demand for the iconic open-top car. Launched on December 12, 2025, the model was introduced as a completely built-up (CBU) unit at an ex-showroom price of ₹58.50 lakh.

The rapid sell-out underlines the MINI brand’s strong connect with Indian buyers seeking distinctive design and an engaging driving experience.

Commenting on the overwhelming response, Hardeep Singh Brar, President and CEO, BMW Group India, said the speed at which the MINI Convertible sold out reflects how deeply customers resonate with MINI’s unmistakable design and fun-to-drive character.

He added that MINI owners are known for forging their own path, embracing individuality and the joy of open-top motoring, and expressed excitement at seeing the new Convertible bring fresh energy to Indian roads.

Classic MINI Design Meets Modern Technology

The all-new MINI Convertible stays true to classic MINI design cues while integrating modern features. It comes equipped with standard LED headlights offering three distinct light signatures, enhancing its character and visual appeal.

The car rides on aerodynamically optimised 18-inch alloy wheels, available in Slide Spoke 2-tone and Flash Spoke 2-tone designs. Its high-quality black soft top can be fully opened in 18 seconds and closed in 15 seconds, and can also function as a sunroof with a 40 cm opening, irrespective of driving speed.

Digital-First Cabin and Premium Features

Inside, the MINI Convertible features a minimalist cabin inspired by the classic Mini, with the highlight being a round high-resolution OLED display, known as the MINI Interaction Unit. This combines the instrument cluster and central infotainment screen into a single interface.

Advanced features include the MINI Intelligent Personal Assistant, activated via the “Hey MINI” voice command, MINI Digital Key Plus that enables smartphone-based access through the MINI App, a Head-Up Display, and a Harman Kardon Surround Sound System for an immersive audio experience.

Powerful Performance from TwinPower Turbo Engine

Powering the MINI Convertible S is a petrol engine featuring MINI TwinPower Turbo technology, delivering 150 kW (204 hp) and 300 Nm of torque. The car accelerates from 0–100 km/h in just 6.9 seconds and boasts a top speed of 240 km/h, ensuring an engaging and sporty driving experience.
