Nitin Gadkari inaugurates Oben Electric’s 75th showroom in Nagpur

Nagpur, India — In a significant boost to India’s rapidly growing electric mobility sector, Hon’ble Union Minister for Road Transport & Highways, Shri Nitin Gadkari, today inaugurated Oben Electric’s 75th showroom in Nagpur. The new facility, located in Hanuman Nagar, marks a major milestone for the homegrown, R&D-driven electric motorcycle manufacturer.

The showroom launch is supported by a dedicated Oben Care service centre, offering customers convenient access to expert after-sales support and reliable maintenance. The expansion further strengthens Oben Electric’s footprint in Maharashtra, where demand for its flagship electric motorcycle, the Oben Rorr EZ Sigma, continues to surge.

With the new Nagpur showroom, Oben Electric now operates seven showrooms across Maharashtra and 75 showrooms and service centres nationwide. The company is on track to scale its network to 150+ outlets by the end of the financial year, fueled by strong customer demand and the accelerating adoption of EV two-wheelers across India. Oben Electric has established a robust presence in major cities including Bengaluru, Delhi, Kochi, Jaipur, Amritsar, Hyderabad, and Lucknow.

The Oben Rorr EZ Sigma, available in 3.4 kWh and 4.4 kWh variants, delivers up to 175 km IDC range, offers three ride modes (Eco, City, Havoc), and reaches a top speed of 95 km/h. It is powered by Oben’s patented LFP battery technology, which offers 50% higher heat resistance and double the lifecycle durability—ideal for India’s diverse climatic conditions.

Priced from ₹1.16 lakh, the Rorr EZ Sigma also features Reverse Mode, a 5-inch colour TFT display, turn-by-turn navigation, call/text alerts, and app connectivity via the Oben Electric App for live tracking, smart notifications, and remote lock access. The motorcycle is available through Oben’s retail network as well as on Flipkart and Amazon, extending accessibility for customers nationwide.
