Royal Automobile Club Confirms 2026 Summer Concours at Woodcote Park
Prestigious motoring showcase returns on 8 July 2026 with new categories and RM Sotheby’s Summer Sale
The Royal Automobile Club has announced that its highly acclaimed Summer Concours will return to the stunning Woodcote Park clubhouse on Wednesday, 8 July 2026, following the resounding success of its debut earlier this year.
The inaugural Concours, held in 2025, firmly established itself as a highlight of the Club’s ‘Summer Motor Week’, attracting Club members, international collectors, and car enthusiasts from around the world. Positioned perfectly between the British Grand Prix and the Goodwood Festival of Speed, the event has become a centerpiece in the UK’s vibrant motoring calendar — a celebration of automotive artistry, heritage, and passion.
A Return to Woodcote Park’s Iconic Setting
The historic Woodcote Park estate once again provides the perfect setting for this exclusive gathering. The debut event featured over 200 exceptional vehicles spanning three centuries, displayed across the venue’s lush greens and fairways.
For 2026, the Concours will introduce all-new judging categories and themed displays dedicated to design, motorsport, landmark anniversaries, and legendary marques, promising even greater diversity and spectacle.
RM Sotheby’s to Host Exclusive Summer Sale
A major highlight of next year’s event will be the RM Sotheby’s Summer Sale, hosted during the Concours. The world-renowned auction house — a long-time partner of the Royal Automobile Club and title sponsor of the London to Brighton Veteran Car Run — will showcase a curated selection of rare and exceptional collector cars.
Duncan Wiltshire, Chairman of the Royal Automobile Club, commented:
“After many years in planning, our first Concours exceeded all expectations and was widely acclaimed for its glamorous informality and sensational cars. We are committed to making our 2026 edition even better, and we are delighted to partner once again with RM Sotheby’s for what promises to be an outstanding event.”
Rob Myers, CEO of RM Sotheby’s, added:
“The Royal Automobile Club Concours was a great success, with a scale and atmosphere unlike anything else. Our partnership with the Club is hugely important within the UK market, and we look forward to delivering an exceptional summer auction to complement our London Sale.”
A New Tradition in British Motoring Excellence
With its elegant setting, rare automobiles, and vibrant social atmosphere, the Royal Automobile Club Summer Concours at Woodcote Park is poised to become a fixture of Britain’s summer motoring season — a celebration of craftsmanship, heritage, and the enduring spirit of driving excellence.
