Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India Records 6.5 Lakh Sales in October 2025, Up 9% Year-on-Year
Gurugram, November 4, 2025: Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) has reported total sales of 6,50,596 units in October 2025, marking a strong performance driven by festive season demand and sustained market momentum.
The company’s domestic sales stood at 5,98,952 units, while exports contributed 51,644 units during the month. This represents a 9% year-on-year (YoY) growth compared to October 2024 and a 15% month-on-month (MoM) growthcompared to September 2025.
Strong Performance in FY2025–26 Year-to-Date
For the Year-to-Date (YTD) period of FY26 (April–October 2025), HMSI has recorded total sales of 36,41,612 units, comprising 32,78,451 domestic units and 3,63,161 exports.
The continued positive trajectory reflects growing consumer confidence in Honda’s product range and the company’s strong retail presence across urban and rural markets.
Commitment to Road Safety and Social Responsibility
Beyond sales milestones, HMSI continued its nationwide efforts to promote road safety education and awareness, underscoring its vision of creating safer roads and responsible riders.
In October 2025, HMSI conducted awareness campaigns across multiple Indian cities, including Siwan, Mathura, Jhunjhunu, Ahmedabad, Navi Mumbai, Kolkata, Jalna, Lucknow, Kannur, and Hubballi. These interactive sessions encouraged responsible road behaviour and safety consciousness among citizens.
The company also marked the 8th anniversary of its Traffic Training Park in Karnal, Haryana, and the 5th anniversary of the Safety Driving Education Centre (SDEC) in Bengaluru, Karnataka — both of which play a crucial role in nurturing safe road habits among riders of all ages.
Additionally, HMSI organized a Road Safety Convention in Jabalpur, engaging school principals and teachers to build awareness about safe commuting practices among children from an early age.
Honda India Foundation Strengthens Community Outreach
Under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives, Honda India Foundation (HIF) made significant strides toward its global vision of achieving a collision-free society by 2050.
In a major public safety initiative, HIF handed over 200 specially equipped Quick Response Team (QRT) vehiclesto the Chandigarh, Rajasthan, and Karnataka Police as part of its ‘Sadak Sahayak: Surakshit Marg, Surakshit Jiwan’ project. This program aims to enhance emergency response efficiency and improve road safety infrastructure across Indian states.
HIF also launched the Honda Road Safety Ambassadors Program at Honda Samajik Vikas Kendra, Naurangpur, alongside the ‘Sadak Suraksha Express’ awareness drive — both designed to educate communities about safe driving and pedestrian practices.
Further extending its CSR efforts, HIF signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Centre for Entrepreneurship Development (CED), Government of Gujarat, to introduce a Skill Enhancement Program at Ganpat University, Mehsana, supporting youth skill development and employability.
